Two years ago I had an issue with my pc and out of nowhere it said I contracted a virus and pc magic pops up on my screen saying they can help. They told me they could clean and get rid of the virus. So they offered me multiple different plans they sounded legit so I purchased a plan it was for lifetime of internet security for $799.00 what I didnt know was every year I need to try and get ahold of them to reinstate the security the first year was one company and last year was Kaspersky internet security. Now my calls are falling on def ears Ive tried e-mailing / calling the phone is always busy always. Im not happy with this company at all. Im willing to pay for the internet security for the last two years of use but would like a refund for the balance. This internet security was for just one computer only. Customer was sent us email reporting some issue with his security so we tried to call him but somehow he got our number blocked so we were not able to reach him over the phone so after communicating with him over email we got the his computer security issue fixed. Now customer is happy and satisfied and assured us that he will take down this complaint.

My ***** computer contracted a malware virus and a pop-up message informed to contact ***** Support to resolve (I have this screen shot of this message). I contacted them and it turns out to be what was portrayed to be a subcontracting company 'PC Magic' to resolve the issue. Since it came from my ***** computer identifying as ***** support I went with it. It cost me $499 for a two year service agreement to 'clean' my computer (I have a copy of this agreement), this service began on April 22, 2021.The agreement suggested that I contact PC Magic 24/7 for any issues and to perform a monthly 'cleaning' of my computer. This went well for the first few months, but have not been able to contact them since August 2021 at the two toll free numbers they provided to me ************ or ************. 'Rohit' was the support person that I dealt with.I have not had service since August and cannot get through on either of the numbers as they appear to be now disconnected.Initial Complaint

This company implied they were affiliated with ****** *** and charged me $300. to provide me with "cleaning" my files and providing me with ****** *** for 3 years. Then they told me that the could only provide the ****** *** for one year but would renew the coverage each year for the three years. These people have scammed me into purchasing a product from them under false pretenses. I want my money back. ****** said they had not received any money on my behalfCustomer response

Dear:Sir/Mam
This is in regard to the customers complaint we have received on BBB, We apologize for the inconvenience caused. We would like to inform you that customer contacted us on 17th of Sep 2021.We offered him help and service to fix the issues and he got agreed and paid us for the three year service and security. Before making the payment we clearly told him that we will be providing him updated version of ****** every year to which he agreed but later contacted us via email asking for refund. We contacted customer and after a brief discussion over the phone he agreed with the plan to which he initially agreed. After two days he again contacted us back for the same concern and this time he was not ready to talk and keep disconnecting our phone. We were not able to know the reason why customer keep agreeing and disagreeing with what was already discussed between us so we processed the full refund of $300 on 11th of Oct and also sent the refund receipt along with confirmation email to customer, however customer never responded to our email.
We only offer or process the refund if we receive any written request from our customers.Being a company oriented towards customer satisfaction we provided him computer service also provided him one year of ****** ******** and still provided him full refund and still if customer have any questions or queries he can contact us anytime and we will be more then happy to assist him.
NOTE: We are sending you the attachments of the refund receipt and email confirmation that we have sent to customer.
