Contracted with this plumber for a new garbage disposal. He installed one, charging 160.00 for the part and 120.00 for the labor. Two weeks later, when I need to get some things under my sink towards the back, I see that the there is standing water under the disposal. At this time, the dishwasher was on. After inspecting, it was clear that the dishwasher line to the disposal was not hooked up correctly and the disposal itself was not placed correctly, causing leaks I could not possibly see due to the way I use under sink storage (only on right side, where the disposal is not located). I contacted the plumber to repair, he said he would bc I had a 30-day guarantee. He made me wait until 3/8 only to call 1 hour before the time to reschedule. I asked for the labor charge to be refunded. He declined but offered to reschedule for Saturday, 3/11 . When he arrived, he was rude, threatening, and difficult, not allowing me to explain where the water was coming from and when. He suggested he could leave and that “another unscrupulous plumber would say it was my fault since I waited two weeks to say anything.” He left without fixing anything. I had spent 6 days with NO water in my kitchen for ANY reason. My sink cabinet is damaged now, too.
