              The original proposal amount for our bathroom renovation was $******* The cost plus contract stated that this amount was inclusive of project cost + 20% profit. Overages of $******** in total were explained to us and agreed upon throughout the project. $****** was discounted from the original proposal amount per our request due to the project taking much longer than expected. After the discussed and agreed upon total of $********* was paid, ***** ****** states that we now owe him $******** extra that was never discussed as an overage added to the original proposal amount nor agreed upon. The claimed costs of the project are inflated and inconsistent. The costs sheets should be reviewed. ***** refuses to explain where the extra costs came from that would cause a $******** increase in the price. I believe this is price gouging. I have paid the agreed upon amount in full and would like a billing adjustment of $******** for the overages that were never discussed or approved.
