The organization struggles with communication. Their business model is to have multiple individuals in the organization communicating with you versus a streamlined dedicated agent. This lead to the organization not property communicating with each other - or me. On multiple occasions they dropped the ball on simple tasks like filing paperwork that lead to other individuals in the organization unaware I had already completed the requested paperwork. The incoming tenant's relator called me directly with questions because she was not getting a response from Century 21. I was charged near $500 in "repairs" for the tenant in the first 22 days of them managing the property. This is in addition to the $266 monthly service fee. After agreeing partnering together may not be the best and deciding to end the contact as of February 28, I have still not, as of February 22nd, received the rent the tenant paid that is owed to me despite the contract listing payments will be made between the 10th and 12th of each month. The organization has not demonstrated they care about my property and while small has had several contract violations.Initial Complaint

21st century was the property manager for a property we used to rent and have since purchased. We paid rent for the month of April beginning April 1 through the end of the month. We closed on purchasing the home on April 12. The company is refusing to refund us for thr rent from the 12th through the end of month claiming that according to their records my move out date was the 30th and that they sent the rent to the previous owners. 2400 distributed over 30 days is $80 a day. We completed purchase of the home on the 12th and as such there were at least 18 days where we were not renting the property despite being required to pay for the month. This amount of rents paid for time not rented amounts to $1,440. Century 21 claiming ignorance that they had in their records that we were to love out on the 30th is inaccurate as they were the closing agent for the selling party and were certainly aware that the home sold and closing was the 12th.
