Account was incorrectly placed in collections with Suburban Credit. Medical provider, Dominion Anesthesiology filed original claim incorrectly. They refiled and show a $0 balance due but refuse to update Suburban Credit and Suburban Credit continues to harrass me with collection actions. I have provided contact info to Suburban Credit for Dominion Anesthiology, have submitted two disputes on their website about this but have had no confirmation or follow up from them.Business response

there is a collection on my credit report its from suburban credit Corp; however ********************* is the resource that had them file that. It is for $15 and it is an error. I do not owe them any money; however, they have significantly impacted my credit score with their error. In fact, they owe me a refund. I want this removed immediately as they have impacted my ability to access credit based on my score. ************************* 7/27/61 bd ********* ss#Please advise.**********Business response

I have made payment to bills on my credit report, to specific bills on my credit report so that they can be removed from my credit report. I was told these the last 2 times i called. Today made the 3rd and they item/bill I paid in full still remains on my credit report. when i called today to inquire I was given the same excuse and told it would drop off in 3 to 4 days again this is the 3rd time i was told this. I am making payments and they are not applying payment where they are supposed to go. That item still showing on my credit report and showing as a derogatory remark. It needs to be removed as it's been paid in full.Business response

We have submitted the paid accounts to the credit bureaus to be removed. She states she uses ****** ***** to us to view her credit report and it takes time for them to receive it and update ****** ***** as we only report to the credit bureaus.Initial Complaint

I have made a payment plane with subarban credit First they charged me monthly for couple months I happened to check my credit score today and I see they sent my account to collections I been paying on time without any issues This is unfair I'd like my score to go back to what it wasBusiness response

Thank you for bringing this consumers concern to our attention. His account was placed for collections by the original creditor on April 5, 2021. Notification of this placement was mailed to him on April 7, 2021 and our records do not reflect receiving any response from him. Phone calls were made, and additional correspondence was sent to him and still no response. His account was reported to Equifax in August 3, 2021 as an outstanding debt. He contacted this office October 25, 2021 and set up an arrangement to pay $50.00 monthly. Payments were made and Equifax was updated accordingly. On March 3, 2022 he contacted this office upset that he found it on his credit and subsequently paid the account in full. A request will be made to Equifax asking for the reporting of this item to be removed from his Equifax file. We trust this resolves this consumers concern and if he has any additional questions, he may contact *********************, Floor Manager, at ************ or ************.Initial Complaint

Suburban Credit Corporation has reported a fraudulent collection account on my ********** and ******* credit report which has harmed my ability to obtain credit in my name . Could you please remove this inaccurate information Asap.Business response

Thank you for bringing this consumer’s concern to our attention. This account placed in collections by our client on February 24, 2020 for services their records show they treated this consumer at one of their clinics January 24, 2019. They have advised this office that their records reflect that a $25.00 co-payment was made at the time of service and this balance is what the consumer’s insurance applied to their deductible. Notification was mailed via first class mail about this placement to which no response was received nor was it returned. We have attempted to reach this consumer by phone and a voice mail only comes on. Additional mailings have also been sent and no response has been received. We reported this account to ******* as an outstanding debt owed to our client at their request. This office has no business dealings with **********. This consumer has never tried to call this office or go online to www.suburbancredit.com to resolve this account. If they wish to discuss this account, we invite this consumer to contact Jeff C*****, Floor Manager, at ************ x *** or provide this office with a reason or provide proof of fraud. Validation is available, as supplied by our client, including the signed Financial Policy agreement signed at the time of service along with an itemized statement of the charges. This consumer’s account # in this office is ***********. We feel this should not be a complaint against Suburban Credit Corporation.Customer response
