Double charged for my service on 6/28, one still shows pending. I've contacted them several times with no help. Email, phone, all of it.

Comenity advised that big O has to initiate the refund, they can't do it.

28 days and still nothing and my available balance is being impacted

It also took them over a year to "fix "my car but I am still having issues with their repairs.

I'm getting pretty annoyed by this. I've spent thousands with Big O and the service keeps going down hill. Now extra charges. Not happy.

On January 27th of 2022 I took my Tundra in to location to have gas tank replaced. It was replaced, but when I asked to see the part, I was told they didn’t have it anymore. I paid and left. A couple weeks later I was smelling fuel, so I took my truck into the same location, a mechanic looked at it in the parking lot and said he didn’t see anything unusual and it was normal to smell fuel. I took this mechanics word. Fast forward to 4/2024, I let a friend barrow my truck, when he returned he asked if I knew there was a fuel smell, I said I was told it was normal, he stated, it was not normal, and told me to get it looked at. I took it to a Big O Tires in Springfield MO who said I needed a new fuel pump, that the fuel pump on my truck looked like it had been tightened too tight. I thought the part replaced was a gas tank not fuel pump. I called the original office that did the work and was told the part wasn’t under warranty. My concern was that the fuel pump they say was replaced was never replaced that the mechanics used the old fuel pump I had on my truck, tightening it so much that it caused damage and that’s why it was leaking. I tried to get them to fix in the beginning when I noticed it and was told it was normal, and now I’m getting the runaround. I paid for a service that was neglectful. Big O tires needs to fix my truck as a fuel pump, if replaced should last longer than 2 years. The manager at said location asked me why I waited so long to bring my truck in, and told me the part was not under warranty, end of story. I have escalated this to a higher manager and no one is calling me back. Big O Tires neglect has put me in danger and they need to make it right by actually putting a brand new fuel pump on my truck. I feel the mechanics were not truthful from the beginning saying it was a fuel tank, and it was supposed to be a fuel pump. Big O Tires needs to do the right thing.

Car needed an alignment after new tires, front brakes, and rotors. Big O stated they did an alignment, but it pulls to the right, called and spoke to them, and they were coming up with all sorts of very expensive parts that need to be replaced, and when I took to another shop, they said it didn't need to be replaced that the alignment needed to be done! I told the shop it had been aligned and they said it might be within their specs, but it was not aligned properly that they had done a lazy job.

My husband and I have been taking our truck here for years. On Saturday, Oct 14, we took our truck in to get the tire sensor replaced. At the end of the transaction, it was more than we thought but they've been great to work with, so we didn't think much of it. After some research we discovered that they charged us $167 for a part that only cost $30.

The list on the part from our local dealer is $169, we charged the customer $165.The customer has been refunded the amount of $100, and was also given a break on the labor time which saved another $35 for the customer. We have done all we are going to do for the customer at this time, and are considering this a closed matter.

We were not refunded the amount you're discussing. The only amount refunded was $53.63, please see attached.

The part that you are saying was $169 was already admittedly overcharged when you were talking on the phone with my husband. You disclosed the part #(and another cheaper option) and it was a $30-65 part online (retail not cost). I'm happy to discuss the matter further with someone at Big O's corporate level.

We'd just like a refund for the amount you overcharged.

      Sincerely,

You were givin a refund of $50, that would have been credited to your bank account. At the time of the repair there was also a $50 discount, and we dropped the labor rate down by an additional $30. We priced the part according to our local dealers list price, and your husband agreed to the price before we proceeded with the work. You can find anything cheaper on the internet compared to a local retailer. Like i had said in the last message, we will not be giving any additional refunds, and are considering this a closed matter.

Took my Mercedes in for brake pads replacement. They called me and asked me where my tire wheel lock was so I told them it was in the glove compartment. Call me back and told me they found it when they were finished I came pick my vehicle up. And when I checked out, went back to my car, got ready to reach for my glove box to open it to put the receipt in it. I noticed that they broke my lock off my vehicle glove box, it was laying in the floorboard. Went back in told them what happened and I guess the managers wife works there too. He called her on the phone and she said she knows nothing about it that it was already like that pretty much calling me a liar. He asked to Tec . He said he knows nothing about it. Pretty much told me he’s nothing he can do. I asked for corporate number.. I have contacted Big O tire corporate line and left three messages. Nobody has returned my call they keep saying the escalated it up. I have yet to hear anything. I want my glove box fixed or I want my money to fix it.. this was at the Ogden, Utah location Washington Boulevard. PS, you can see the smudge marks from I guess the the greasy fingers right beside the lock look at the picture

Big O Tires sold me a tire with a screw in it and will not honor their warranty. The local COO, Miriam, told me on the phone that I was "ignorant and unreasonable". I think it's reasonable to expect a new tire.

I have taken my car in 3 times to have air conditioning fix! Starting 6/17/21 cost me $1,676 they replace compressor and condenser. Don’t drive my car a lot 2016 gmc Acadia with 43,000 miles . It would randomly blow hot air brought in couple more time couldn’t find in anything wrong. Then on 9/08/22 it completely stop working brought in said must have been a hair line fracture on the compressor and then edit completely cracked open and that’s why it stopped working so they replaced it again. Then it started making a vibration noise. Every time I turn the air conditioner on still worked with cool air but then, but then it started making a really loud noise and would start randomly blowing hot air again so I took it in again on 7/17/23 and this and they replace the compressor again! And all I’ve went like nine times between checking them out and then fixing it ! Drove it home yesterday and it sounds like an airplane engine. It’s when it gets drive it and it gets hot when I turn the air conditioning off then it stops so I know it’s the air conditioning. I want my money back so I can take it somewhere else so they can fix it.!

I came into the Riverton store on Friday April 7th to have tires mounted and balanced on a set of rims. I spoke to the advisor, and told him my rims were chrome 100 spokes, and if they were confident enough to do these, and be sure not to damage them, or the tires. He told me absolutely. Itold him to tell the tech to use caution and be extremely careful and he said he would. I left the tires there and told him I would return in a hour. I returned, and he told my my rims were ready and I paid for the service. The tech loaded them into the back of my truck, I thanked him and gave him a tip. When I handed the tech the tip, immediately I knew something was wrong, I could literally see the guilt all over his face. I opened my tailgate and looked at my rims and he bent BOTH of them. I told the advisor and he got the manager, Victor. He took a look at them with the tech, and told me they were already bent and I must have missed it. These rims are for my Classic car, and with a classic you know every single thing wrong with it. I have looked at these rims a thousand times this winter and they were not bent. He said he would not help me in any way.i asked for a district manager, and he got upset. I got his managers number and called her immediately (Miriam). 12 days later zero response. I even filled out a store review. When I returned home I also noticed that the tires they took off the rims were damaged as well, and they were literally brand new. Same damage as the rims, the inside bead of the tires is destroyed. Not a single person has contacted me, and the technician even kept my tip.

The wheels the customer came in with are old and in very poor condition prior to service the spots he claimed we damaged have rust on them making it a clear indication damage was there prior to work wheels were in really bad condition prior to service we serviced it with most care possible the machines we use have a nylon head which makes it impossible to damage wheels.

I am rejecting this response because:

The tires are not covered in rust, they're literally almost brand new! and the areas that were bent, have zero rust whatsoever. The tires they destroyed were also BRAND NEW. The tires had never been ran and still had the blue on the white walls.  These rims were not damaged prior, and the tires the very same. Also the wheels are damaged right where you can see the damage to the inside bead of the tires. It's literally shocking they won't own up to this, and still even kept my payment and the tip I gave the technician.

Had tires put on my car last month, they initially charged the wrong amount to my Big O Card. So they stated they "refunded" that extra charge to my card, and proceeded to charge the correct amount. The guy assured me everything was taken care of upon leaving the shop. Well, I checked my card to make a payment last week, just to find out I have been charged THREE times for ONE set of tires. I contacted the shop, and they assured me once again that they fixed the charges. So today, I checked my card balance, and found that they have only removed ONE charge. So I am still being charged twice for one set of tires? This put my credit card OVER limit by $800!! Everytime I contact the shop, I am put on hold for 30 minutes just to be hung up on. I have been working to have this fixed for over a week now. I got lucky I even got through to someone to have at least one of the charges removed.
I am extremely irritated as this is reflected on my credit as a card being over limit, and no one cares enough to fix it!!
