Purchased phone and service on 18 Dec 2023. Spent next ~3weeks getting my phone number transferred into the new phone. 4Freedom kept telling me it was not their problem, told me Verizon would not let the transfer go through. I kept getting messages from Verizon telling the number had been released. Phone still didn't work. Couldn't phone out or get calls. Told to buy a new SIM card, which I did and then some calls worked. People tell me they try to call and can't get through and I can't get through to them. Texts do not go out or come in. This is what they advertise; " You can still call anyone, whether they are 4Freedom users or not. They will receive your calls and messages as regular voice calls and SMS messages. And when they reply, you will receive their calls and messages in the 4Freedom Mobile app. " The phone doesn't work. Customer service is pathetic. No phone number to call. Just an online chat, which takes them at least an hour to answer. So, when contacting them one must wait an hour for a response, which is usually a question. Then another hour an so on. 4Freedomring advertises "Unlimited **************** but quickly will throttle you to *************** Their slogan is: BRING YOUR OWN DEVICE, GET SECURE, UNLIMITED TALK, TEXT & HIGH-SPEED DATA just $29.99 per month. When I asked their customer support why I was being throttled when i signed up for "unlimited high speed data" based on their advertising, I was told that only "Low speed Data" is guaranteed. I can't find that term anywhere in their terms of service: ************************************************************** I was able to find this in their terms, "4Freedom reserves the right to limit any users access to high-speed data and/or any users access to any voice, text, or data services at any time without warning and without explanation." Based on this statement how can they advertise "Unlimited High Speed" without having at least an asterisk (*) to denote that unlimited is conditional? When I asked the technician if they had any data caps set he told me, "We are waiting from the backend team a more concrete number on the amount of data each user is allocated "per their data plan". That sounds like we have data plans with capped data amounts that is not even listed in the terms of service. Again, how can they advertise UNLIMITED HIGH SPEED data when clearly it is severely limited? That fact that we have capped amounts but that they can't even tell us what those data caps are is incredibly deceptive- if not outright false advertising. If they would of at least put an asterisk next to Unlimited *************** I would of known that is was not unlimited but limited and to look for the meaning of the asterisk. It's deceptive to use the word unlimited when it's very clearly limited- so limited in fact, that the company doesn't even have caps set so customer's can track when they will be throttled. Please assist and please advise.Business response

We are editing out website and the asterisk will be added to the plans and statements . Please allow us time to push out the website update as it was already in the works. We do list all of our actions in our terms and services and hope that in the future you are happy with the results.
