Great product and lifetime warranty. The pet door is great for my dog.

I wish I would have read more reviews before making such a large purchase so I could at least prepare for the hassle of working with Advanced Windows. I ordered my windows in May 2021 and they were very clear about the 4 month back order so that was fine. Windows were installed and 2 were ordered incorrectly and 1 was broken. These were re-ordered and replaced 2 months later. There was then a missing trim piece that I had to call and find out was already in stock which brings us to our last install appointment. 50% of my window openings have some type of gash, most down to the metal framing of my window frame. During my sales appointment I was told all damages except for stucco/brick are covered-not true. After needing to call in 5 different times the manager stated "This happens so often we're unable to help". They did end up agreeing to cover a small amount that should cover the supplies i'll need to fix my walls and pointed out they have a written blanket statement in tiny print they don't cover damages, nothing specific, just damages. Everyone I've worked with directly has been nice, I do wish they could deliver on the 'professional' service. Overall, I have new windows that work as shown in my sales appointment. Disappointed and frustrated with the lack of professional service when I paid $13K for windows and "professional service".

A family member used Advanced Windows to update all of the windows in their house from single pane to the "triple pane" windows that qualify for the tax incentive. The family member was so pleased with AW's work that for me the sales rep had the sale and the initial appointment was a formality. Unfortunately, for the sales rep, he lost the sale within 3 minutes of entering my home. He was arrogant, boasted of his management position overseeing the installation crews, and he reacted to my questions as if I was ignorant of window design, installation techniques, and tax inventive options. He chose to spend 30 minutes of the 45 minute appointment detailing his vast knowledge regarding the incompetence of a local competing window company. For the 15 minutes that he actually told me about HIS product, he focused primarily on AW's warranty-- a red flag for their lack of confidence in their own product. I asked the sales rep how many warranty claims AWs received each year. He did not know. I asked him how many of the claims were resolved to the customer's satisfaction. He did not know. He was a manager responsible for the work crews, and yet he was unware warranty claims. He knew more about his competitor than he knew about his own crew. Another nail in the coffin for him was regarding the "triple pane" windows. He told me that it would be more cost effective for me to install the double pane windows because the incentive for the triple pane would cover only a small percentage of the cost. I did the math and no, with the prices that he provided, installing the triple pane with the incentive assistance would have cost me the same about out of my pocket. AND I would have had more efficient windows. I suspect that AW's profit margin on the double pane is greater than the triple pane, and/or his commission is greater. He was dumbfounded when he left without a sale, and I was dumbfounded by his poor self-awareness.
