I hired this business to make plumbing repairs on my business property. I was clear from the beginning that the work needed to be complete prior to December 23, 2022, because my business could not operate without the necessary repairs, and 60% of our annual revenue is earned during the winter holidays. Neerings not only failed to complete the repairs on time, they did not even start the work until 2-1/2 days after it was supposed to begin. In fact, none of the work was completed prior to December 23. Neerings ceased work more than 1 week later, and had to be called out to fix issues on four different occasions. Even after this, a portion of the repairs were never completed, and Neerings failed or refused to complete the work, which resulted in the business' main restroom to be unusable. It remains so to this day. My business made payment of 90% of the invoiced amount, and withheld $2,300 while negotiating a discount to compensate my business for Neerings failures and incompetence. After the business contacted Neerings to seek a discounted fee due to their failure to perform the work on time, and in a professional manner, Neerings hired an attorney to force me to the business to pay the remainder, despite the fact the amount was in dispute. Then, even after my business paid the remainder, under protest, to avoid a construction lien, Neerings filed a wrongful construction lien seeking attorney fees and costs, even though **** law prohibits the inclusion of attorney fees and costs in any construction lien.

All contractual obligations have been fulfilled. As soon as she pays in full and **** is compensated for his collection fees the lien will be released. This must go through our attorney **************************

A Neerings Tech determined that the Furnace Control Panel was faulty. My wife felt pressured by him as the options were extremely expensive and all over the board. The Tech said our unit was really old and should be replaced. He also launched into the replacing the *** The cheapest option was replacing the Control Panel. Feeling pressured to make a decision with all other repairs costing thousands of dollars, she selected the least expensive. Our Furnace is 11 years old. This claim by the Tech and later in email by ********, is false and in our opinion a high pressured sales tactic. The average age of a furnace is ***** years. Our unit is 11 years. Not even in the average range. From my research replacing the control panel is a common repair, on average $450, high of $900. We were charged $1491. Under pressure and with deceitful info she made a decision. I later called 5 Heating Repair places. I took top companies listed, and well-reviewed. I asked for the cost of replacing my Control Panel and gave them my model number. 3 companies gave me a quote. $722 was the most expensive. I forwarded my result *******************************. He in turn asked me to provide the quotes in writing. Of course I dont have written quotes on work that was already performed by someone else. I called the companies to validate what a repair might cost. In good faith I voiced my concerns and asked for them to address the discrepancy of what my research showed. During these interaction. ******* said their pricing is agreed upon with competitors. This is called Price Fixing and is illegal.
