I probably got the same notice like everyone else. I'm new to starting a business so I thought it was legit because I "don't know what I don't know" about a lot of this. Luckily my CPA cousin is a huge help and showed me it was scam. Shame on these people for preying upon new business owners trying to make it.

I'm here with everyone else. It'll be a preach to the choir, but I feel it's important to share that I had the same experience. I received a very official-looking document saying that I have to pay some kind of fee. I wasn't sure what the fee was for so surely I decided to do some research. Turns out, this is just a big scam. I am glad I didn't fall for it but hope everyone else decides to do their research too. I'm happy that I was given a heads up and feel it is important to pitch in and do the same for other people.

full scam. They are still around. HOW is that? Any all the forms are free and anyone can get them. Also the payment location is in **. **********. under a completely different name. Do not send them any money... educate yourself or just close your business. No stars if I could.

As a new LLC, this "scare tactic" to get you to purchase a poster for $114.00 (that can be downloaded for free) or a federal penalty could be assessed should be criminal. They seem to prey on the uninformed. Something should be done to help educate business owners.

These people are sharks, thieves, and send out deceptive letters to prey on the misinformed and easily intimidated small business owners. TRASH their letters!

Just received a letter in the mail from this company trying to mislead me to pay $114 to put up a compliance poster. Im glad I caught this because the letter is very deceptive in its appearance and Im sure its a numbers game for them. Out of ten people how many will fall for this service. I feel bad knowing that some if not most people wont look into this further and pay this fee.

I got a letter in the mail, it appeared to be a bill I owed. This company is HOPING people are stupid and that we sheep will just pay any invoice we get. I am not stupid. I do not simply pay an invoice, but I am VERY CONCERNED that this is legal?Elderly people, or a new business owner should not have to figure out that it's a scam, the scam should not be legal, nor allowed!! Please make these predatory, bullsh*t letters ILLEGAL. They either run a decent, honest business, or they can't. Tired of this. I should have been protected, as all of us should, in the first place. Your lucky I am refraining from swearing right now. Tempted to stalk their employees and see how they like it. I have pictures, I don't see a way to add them.
