We lost our key fob while visiting from out of town and needed a replacement asap. I was promised a call back from a technician and heard nothing for the rest of the day. I called back the following day to follow up and was able scheduled a time for someone to come out. I had reached out to a few locksmiths on ******** marketplace and was told I would possibly need 2 key fobs to get the car going... when I mentioned this on my first call, I was told that with my year and make/model, it wouldn't be the case. Surprise surprise - a second fob was needed and a $300 fob turned into nearly $600. This isnt the end of the world, it is what it is. My issue is with the manager ******. He made it seem like an inconvenience that his tech was out there waiting and told me they only had one key and would need to leave to get a second one. We decided to move forward with extra lock ***** and the tech left with the promise to return shortly with a second key. After a few hours, our phone call was ignored and I text was sent that we cancelled because we were frustrated and the tech would not be returning. This was never the case and my assumption is they had other calls to do and it was to much work to get another key. My call to Skylar went as expected and he was unprofessional. Skip this lock ***** company. There are soooo many quality companies in **** and extra locksmith dosnt make the list.

Backstory:I have an eldery, disabled veteren Father who is blind. He has an intruder coming in at night and stealing items, and this intruder has also made criminal threats. My Father is scared and alone, and before he calls the cops on the intruder, all he wants to feel secured in his home so that if the intruder is not caught, he won't come in and try to hurt him. Now for this company:I live in **********, and have been emailing and calling trying to get someone from Extralocksmith come and change his locks in ********** ****. I remained calm when they told me they had a big Taco **** job that took priority over my emergency. I stayed calm when they told me they would send someone to do the work over a 4 day period and never did. I even stayed calm when I asked to speak to managment and was hung up on not once but 3 times. I was more than calm when I said if something happens to my Father and you didn't help him, I'll hold you accountable. Then a technitian named ***** called me, and immediatly started to yell at me, blaming me, blaming my Father, and anyone within earshot that we are the horrible people who would hold him accountable for his lack of action. He clearly didn't care, and thought it wise to yell about not having to help us, and he hung up.If you have ever been vunerable in this way and needed someone to help you get through a very hard time only to make your entire situation a thousand time worse, then please understand what happened here. Some people have no business being in emergency services like this when all they have to offer is blame shifting, aggression, avoidence of responsibility, and grief for those trying to having dealings with them. I just needed this done, and this is what I got. Nothing. It takes a lot to make me sit down and write something like this, but I am doing it so that if someone see this and decides it's not worth it, I at least saved you from the same grief I went through. It's the pale.
