Back in 2016 I went into EUCCU to be removed off of my ex husbands account, they took my divorce decree and told me I was removed from his accounts. Shortly after I found out I was not completely removed from all of the accounts, they had left me on his overdraft protection/line of credit. I went in and spoke to the manager she told me at that time that they would fix it and get me removed from it and fix my credit where it had been getting hit. Needless to say I was not removed and found this out a couple years after that when I went to go get a loan. So I called and talked to one of their bankers explained the situation and asked if I paid it off if I could just close it. The banker told me he couldn't give me any information on this line of credit because I was not on the account and was only a cosigner on the overdraft protection/ line of credit and I could not close it that my ex-husband would have to do so and he would have to be the one to remove me from it. So after going back and forth with him he finally went and talked to them, I received a email from one of the employees from edocs to sign to be removed, in said email they sent me all of his new wife's information such as her SSN. At this time I believed I was off this line of credit, I was wrong. I was buying a new truck and found out I was still on it and it was affecting my credit score, so I went in and talked to them once again and they told me that that such and such had removed but they had to finish removing me at the branch and assured me that it was getting fixed this time. Well it has not been fixed I received a letter on 2/17/23 from the collection agency, I'm still on this thing it's been ten years now that I've been fighting to get off of it or get it closed, and get my credit fixed since I got this letter my credit has dropped 30 points.
