Before purchasing anything from this company, be aware that they have a history of what a reasonable person would consider fraud. They were previously "Solar Installs" and they dissolved that business and reformed as "Clear Solar" with the same people at the same location. They went through some evasive techniques like changing ownership from one brother to another to dodge responsibility for prior contracts.I was one of those affected by this: they deny responsibility for the warranty of the solar panel system they installed on my house, so I've had to pay other companies for maintenance and repairs that this company should have handled. I've gone round and round with them about this, and they've been very clear that they will not under any circumstances honor the responsibilities of what they claim is an entirely different, dissolved, company that just happens to have the same address and the same employees.This isn't just my opinion and I'm not an isolated case. A very young man named Jordan M******* came to my door in West Sacramento, CA with an ATT shirt and badge on saying that people were complaining of slow internet in the area and he was asking if we were being effected by it to. I said yes because at that time we were having internet issues (thinking he worked for ATT) he started to say that they are working on resolving the issues and that he can offer us better pricing on all out ATT products. We agreed and after talking deeper about the changed is discovered he does not work for ATT but a 3rd party, when I asked who he worked for her said he was not allowed to tell me that (shady) but that he could tell me the name Clear Home, which was on his lanyard. He filled out this single sheet of paper and had us initial some spots, but I thought this was just to set up and we would get some sort of formal contract. The next day when I asked him for a formal contract he said that paper he gave me was it. I told him that was not a contract, it didnt have a company name, or what they would be providing, or the length of service (and I told him I saw a lot of complaints about promises the bill would go down 24 months but that it didnt and it sky rockets and a couple months and his agencys response on here was always to show PROOF) but how can you show proof without a contract! Upon me telling him this he got very irritated and said "well what do you want me to do come over and hand write on the paper we will reduce your bill for 24 months?" and i said no, i would like it in a contact please, and he very rudely told me that he wasted his time with me and he was going to just end the conversation there and cancel everything for me. Because of the information i shared with him i had to contact ATT and change all of my security information and inform them that no 3rd party should contact them on my behalf. He also set me up to get a new alarm with ADT but when you go to the official ADT website you can see that their install price is $100 cheaper, and their monthly rates are also cheaper then what this company is offering, and they say its cause the equipment is free, but it also tells you on the ADT website they give you $850 worth of equipment for free. Also the 1-800 number they give you to talk to their "office" is just a line to leave a VM, and you don't actually get to talk to someone, which means if I have an issue I have to hope someone calls me back but can never speak to someone directly, and I called with no response. Overall this is just a 3rd party scam, and maybe if the representative had stayed nice and answered my questions I would not have had to write this review but now it all seems shady by how angry he got with me wanting more information about his company and a contract before I let them meddle in my personal accounts.
