      ACF agents told me one thing but when the paperwork came in the mail it was totally different. I was told that this was a non profit service. When I received my paperwork it showed 2 different fees I was paying to ACT totaling more than any one payment to a credit card company. I also found out they canceled all my credit cards. This was not part of the agreement either. When I attempted to cancel the service several times no one responded then when the money was not in the account that I setup I was contacted. I explained the reasons why I no longer needed their services and there was no customer at all. It was all; "You agreed to". Now I am in the process of re-establishing my credit after they canceled all my credit cards.

      We are a non profit service however the service does have a monthly service fee to cover company operating costs. The service fee is disclosed by phone, and on the enrollment form which must be signed before completing enrollment in the program offered. The service fee is never higher than payments to all of the credit cards or accounts listed. If it ever exceeds savings it will be adjusted at the time of enrollment so that our clients are saving while enrolled in the program. The second fee that she saw was a Non Sufficient Funds fee because her monthly payment was returned by the bank. This fee is only charged if she decides to make up the missed payment, not monthly. When clients enroll in our program we do advise that her "Creditors" could close her accounts. We do not control whether or not her accounts are closed or remain open. That action is solely at the will of the credit card companies. When Deborah contacted us we have a log of all correspondence, and all of her attempts were answered. When she did finally advise us to cancel the program it was after her payment due date and that is why the payment was attempted. Deborah's due date was 5-14-21, she emailed asking to be cancelled 5-18-21 and then called to confirm cancelation 5-21-21 and her account was cancelled that same day.

      The companies response is incorrect. They stated: "I was told by phone there was a fee." They also stated: "I did not complain or ask to be withdrawn from the service until I got my first bill in May" That is also not true. I will attach the email showing my conversation with the agent on April 22nd when I received the paperwork in the mail with the fee on it. If I had already been given this information why would I be asking about it? See attached emails.
