      Our contract stated that the first 18 months of payments would be reimbursed after payment. We received the first 5 reimbursement checks without major issue. They were sent on inconsistent dates, but generally arrived prior to the due date of the next billing cycle. However, the reimbursement checks stopped in January 2024 and Fluent is now 4 months behind on reimbursement checks. If the reimbursement checks are not continued in a timely manner, we will be forced to take Fluent Solar to small claims court to get the reimbursement for the final 13 payments once we complete them.

      Fluent Solar installed solar panels for us in the spring of 2023. Our system went offline on January 3, 2024, and has not been repaired since that time. There were two different times when a technician came out to diagnose the problem and reported that the power inverter needed to be replaced, but it has not been fixed at this time and I have had very little contact from the company, though I have called multiple times and left messages. In addition, one stipulation of the contract with Fluent Solar is that they would reimburse us for the first 18 months of our loan payment for the system, which is just over $147. They have not sent us those checks for the past two months.

      These scammers will come to your house promising an interest free loan for solar panels then put you in a bridge loan at ***** interest till the government loan kicks in at 0% then theyll drag the job out for six months and then when you finally get the money from the government its only half of what their bill is so youre stuck with the other half in a ***** interest loan and they charge you way too much for their solar panels. I dont know how these guys sleep at night theyre sick. Stealing from people is so wrong specially, this day and age when people cant even buy groceries.

I have not received a reimbursement check for Feb, March and April for 2024. I also assume *** will be in there since they will take payment in two days. I have tried to call Fluent for two weeks but their customer service line appears to be disconnected and immediately hangs up.

      I contracted with Fluent Solar to put Solar on my house. It cost me 29 Thousand and I am paying on that. I had to have my panels removed because I had to have my roof replaced. I prepaid them to to this and they did remove my panels. In February I had my roof redone. Fluent solar has not put them back on. I call and email them every week and nothing. I need them to put my solar back on my rood. Any help would be appreciated.

      Complainant states she had to have her solar system removed so she could have her roof replaced. Her roof was replaced in February. She is waiting for Fluent to reinstall her solar system.

      After review of complainant’s account, we see the solar system was removed and she alerted Fluent that she was ready to have the solar system reinstalled. Her reinstallation project is being prioritized on the top of the list.       I am rejecting this response because:Well they have communicated with me and apparently the mounts have to be replaced and they have the parts at an location here in colorado but they have to send Sunrider Solar to money to pay for the parts. The accounting office is responsible for the distribution of the monies. This is odd since I already prepaid Fluent for the parts. Apparently there are several other users that are in the same situation that I am in and it was a requirement to prepay for these services. They said possible next week the payments will be sent although they said they don't control the accounting side. He was not sure if that will happen. Another delay that seems to be happening.

      Three weeks ago, Fluent had said that they were going to be sending the money to Sunrider now it’s three weeks ago. I have yet to hear from Sunrider. I have yet to get an update from Fluent. That’s the reason why I keep rejecting this. This is going on four months that they have not put my solar panels back on. This is ridiculous.

      I am filing this complaint due to Fluent Solar's failure to fulfill their contractual obligations concerning the maintenance and timely repair of my solar panel system, which has been non-operational since July 15, 2023. This failure has resulted in significant loss and potential safety hazards.**Detailed Timeline and Description:**- **July 15, 2023**: Discovered the solar system ceased producing power.- **July 24, 2023**: Contacted Fluent Solar; received assurances for a swift action plan within 5-7 business days by ****** from the ********************* **August 14, 2023**: Followed up due to inaction; no meaningful update provided.- **October 5, 2023**: Informed that an assessment was pending despite earlier promises.- **October 31, 2023**: A technician replaced the inverter, dismissing my concerns about further potential damages.- **November 8, 2023**: Reported ongoing issues; a technician visit was scheduled.- **November 20, 2023**: Technician deemed the system a "fire and safety hazard" after finding extensive damage, contradicting previous assurances that the system was fine.- **January 11, 2024**: Contacted Fluent for updates on repair plans, following up with no prior communication.- **January 16, 2024**: Was told that damage assessment was ongoing and would be updated with repair options.- **January 31, 2024**: No follow-up received; I reached out again.- **February 7, 2024**: Informed that damage was considered an "Act of God" and not covered by Fluent, contrary to the initial repair coverage assurances.- **March 8, 2024**: Requested a quote for necessary materials for repair.- **March 11, 2024**: Fluent acknowledged request and promised to obtain a quote from their equipment department.- **April 17, 2024**: Emailed Fluent due to no response or quote received.- **April 24, 2024**: Still no response or quote from Fluent, prompting this complaint.

      Complainant states he needs a quote to repair or replace his solar panels that have been damaged due to an Act of God which is not covered under his existing warranty.

      We would like to express our sincere apologies for the inconveniences he has experienced.

      After review of complainants account, we see that he has been with us for two years! Thank you for choosing Fluent Solar LLC.

      We have investigated the damaged panels with complainant and determined that the damage is not covered under his existing warranty. Complainant would normally be responsible for paying for the replacement panels and the labor; however, Fluent has offered to waive the labor and time of our technicians to replace the damaged panels because of the extensive time it has taken to bring his complaints to a resolution.

      We have requested a quote from our typical vendor; however, they no longer stock the panels needed, so we have requested another quote from a different vendor and are still waiting to hear back from them. Once we do, we will relay it to complainant.

      I have had the solar panels for three years and it is the time when the panels should be evaluated for efficiency and the company told me that they could add panels after three year evaluation. They have never evaluated for efficiency or asked to see my billing statements. However, the panels stopped working five months ago. A repair person was sent out who could not figure out the problem for approximately two months. When he did finally go up on roof he deemed the panels damaged due to a squirrel. The company never told us next steps, the company never explained the warranty or simply said this IS or IS NOT covered by document. The cords appear to be damaged not the whole panel. The panels have been down for about six months. The company has not called us, we always have to call them, and when we finally demanded to speak with someone he said we probably need to replace everything! But when we talked to a service person from company, they said we shouldn't need to replace whole panel but rather parts of panel cords. So we are receiving two different messages with no resolution. No exploration of cost to repair or a timeline of our choices. In the meantime, the panels are not working and we are paying a hefty electric bill and solar panel loan bill at the same time. I am writing to warn others about this company and implore people to buy panels from a better company. I hope they can just fix the cords and then we can critter proof panels from another company.

      Complainant states she has had her Fluent solar system for three years and it has not been evaluated for efficiency. She notes the wires were damaged due to squirrels and she wants her system to be rewired. She understands she may have to purchase a new panel. Her system has been down for six months, and she is getting hit with high electric bills. She wants to know the price to repair and add critter guards to her solar system.

      We would like to express our sincere apologies for the inconveniences she has experienced.

      After review of complainants account, we see that her system was shut down because it was not safe to have the system running with damaged wiring. She has an active Warranty case open since February 19, 2024, and she is actively communicating with the Warranty team to determine the best path forward. It has been determined that her warranty does not cover the damage she has experienced. We are still awaiting a quote. Once we receive the quote, we will relay the information to complainant.

      Complainant states that he was supposed to receive a $1,000 rebate check after his system was installed. His system was installed February 24, 2023, and then activated on June 21, 2023, but he has not received his check.

      After review of complainant’s file, we see that the rebate check was requested, but was overlooked in being processed. We apologize for this inconvenience to complainant. The rebate check will be mailed during the next check processing cycle.

      Fluent solar is not paying their 18 month reimbursement back to me. It has been multiple months since I have received my check and every time I call they just tell me that they are working on it.They also installed the wrong mounts on my roof at install (4/2023) and have not fixed the issues for over a year even though I have been calling and requesting a solution since install and have taken multiple days off work so that they could do the work.I was also told the first week of January 2024 that my reimbursement for my drive way that they trenched though and did not properly fix was approved and that I would be receiving a check in a couple weeks. It is now 4/15/2024 and every time I call they tell me that it will be out to me soon or in a couple weeks. I have been lied to by this company and have been ignored by this company. I have continued to try to work with them but have not gotten anywhere on these issues. I spoke with customer service this last week and was told that if I wanted anything done about it to seek legal representation. At this time I would like a contract stating that they will replace the mounts at no cost to me (or the owner of the system) when the roof needs replaced. I do not want them to remove the mounts and just patch the whole roof (with no warranty)(or risk the chance of leak) because they installed the wrong stuff at the time of install.

      We are in receipt of the attached complaint and thank your organization for the opportunity to respond.

      Complainant states that he is not receiving his reimbursement check that is part of an 18-month promotion. He further states that the wrong mounts were installed, and they need to be replaced. He does not want mounts removed and holes patched unless he has a warranty provided since there would be a chance for leaks to occur. He also notes that he has not been reimbursed for his driveway that was damaged during the trenching. He requests a contract that states Fluent will replace the mounts at no cost to him (or the next owner of the system) when the roof needs replaced.

      After review of complainants file, we see that currently his system is producing exceptionally well with no active leaks. A member of our ******************* has been in communication with complainant about the mounts.

      Dividend is his financing company. Customers that have a Dividend loan are now being maintained by Dividend. He is advised to reach out to Dividend at ************ and ask to speak with someone on their Resolutions team.
