1 starThis business is fraud!! Its designed to overpromise the service to having an AI automate text, generate leads, invoicing, etc. none of which actually works effectively. Not only that they end up porting your office lines onto their own private line which cannot be reversed by the service provider. They dont follow through on any of their services and when questioned to discuss the same they dont respond for weeks and eventually their collections department reaches out saying if we dont continue to pay then they will take legal actions against a service which was never provided to begin with. Its designed to scam and not really provide any solution or service whatsoever. I advise NOT TO EVER SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY! They just want to take money and not really serve you. Their so called **** or account manager work from their houses and dont really provide any support other than empty promises!Review fromChris S

1 star"Our experience with this company was a complete disaster, and I strongly advise against signing any contract with them. We were lured in with promises of specific functionality departmental separation of text messages for a 12-month commitment. It quickly became clear that the platform didn't deliver on this core feature. Even their own salesperson admitted to misrepresenting the product, citing their inexperience and assuring us we could cancel and only pay for our usage. This assurance proved to be a blatant falsehood. When we rightfully canceled due to the platform's inadequacy, they sent us straight to collections. This is not just poor service; it's a demonstration of deeply unethical business practices.Don't make the same mistake we did. We've since switched to ****** and found it to be a vastly superior solution. ****** offers a wider range of features, significantly better support, and at a fraction of the cost. 1 starPodium markets themselves as a full service communications company with phone service on an app, web phone or desk phone. However their desk phones DO NOT WORK, they dont get voicemails, you cant forward a call or it will hang up on your customer. 1 starThis company is a scam. After the saleman lied and represented the app as dispatch software we canceled the following day. Three days after the cancelation our card was billed. We called for a refund and every department says we have to speak to billing but no department can get us in touch with billing. It's a scam that preys on small businesses. This company deserves zero stars. They were recommended to us through a distribution company we go through. We are ***************** dealers. We signed up for them at a set price monthly price. They decided to up the price and make it a weekly payment for a yearly contract without contacting us about it. They are still harassing us and contacting our costumers that they shouldnt not be contacting and we havent used them all. Not one bit. We have contacted them over and over telling them that we do not use podium and we need to be taken off of their services. They act like they cant help us. They will tell us to make an appointment for a later time, then the appointment never happens. They are relentless and take advantage of small companies. They scam every single company they come in contact with. They are a terrible business and should be shut down. Do not sign a contract with them! They will run your business into the ground. We had to contact our supply house that promotes them to relinquish our contract that we didnt even get to use. They are still harassing us and our customers.Podium

Podium does not take a NO for an answer. After being presented with their services and pricing we decided to go another route and different Vendor and are terrorized now by their call center on a weekly if not daily basis. Multiple phone numbers of their call center have been blocked and they just keep calling. They have been warned about a complaint against them to the *** and ***, no success.. i hope they will stop calling once enough complaints have been filedPodium

Well, if there was 0 STARS, that is what they deserve. I had a sweet salesman who I told I am not good on the computer. He was telling me how this will be a game changer and bring business. I told them that I have Birdeye . They tried to convince me that they are not ****** accredited. I reluctantly signed after he convinced me. They set up an appointment with ******* for onboarding. (She did absolutely nothing but show me how to get reviews, I already have on BIrdeye. I called Birdeye to tell them that I wanted to switch. However, I am under a contract that I thought was month to month after the year. It automatically renews. I called podium to cancel and they would not let me. They said past the time to cancel. I said I cannot afford two contracts. ***** the sales person who I reached out tells me to threaten Birdeye. Podium set up an appointment for a person to come check my phone the same day I had a meeting with *******. I waited for 4 hours. He absolutely did nothing. The team at podium never reached out to follow up after they knew he was coming. They were supposed to buy my numbers from ********. So my phone was not compatible. 3 weeks passed and heard nothing I saw a charge on credit card which I thought should not be charged until we get service set-up. I disputed at bank and was reimbursed.Then another person is now in contact with me and her manager. I told them I cannot afford so they reduced the contract down to basic. Now 4 months has gone by. I agreed to minimum contract which was substantially less. She tells me I need my ****** info. I wasn't able to get since my computer skills are not so good. SO, since I cannot get info from ****** we cannot do anything. Then I see all these charges and I said we haven't even done anything. So when I gave them my credit card they charged me the $612.32 payment 3 times. Then another payment was charged which was the payment the bank got back for me. VERY *****************. I have REPEATEDLY requested to not be contacted by anyone from this company, and every few weeks I get either another phone call or email trying to get my company to sign up with them! I told them the last time they contacted me that if they did it again, I would be leaving them a review. After coming here and seeing ALL of the negative ones already left, it doesn't appear that they even care.Podium

This company is trying to extort money out of our business. We ended our contract due to the service being terrible. We did so at the renewal. Prior to the renewal, we dropped the services down to a lower amount. They fraudulently kept billing our card on file. I blocked them on the card. They do not show for scheduled appointments. They keep sending new contracts that have hidden renewals in them. We do not sign them. They state that we have to sign it to close the account, but the verbiage has us renewing for a year. They unprofessional and down right trying to extort money. We owe them approx $600 and they are threating to send us to collections for over $6000 and it is all fake. We called and emailed multiple times to cancel this account. I honestly do not know what to do at this point. I am calling an attorney today because it has wasted hours and hours of my time. I could use any help I could get.Podium
