The dates we print on the bottom of our bottles are known as Manufacture Dates. These are not expiration dates, but rather a production date. While the Manufacture Dates may vary from bottle to bottle, rest assured that the process is the same. The ingredients in Balance of Nature supplements go through a tailored vacuum-cold process and are completely shelf stable when kept in a cool and dry place away from sunlight.

I had previously filed a complaint with bbb that was not foll9wed through on my behalf as I intended to go there myself the problem was that I returned their product with receipt provided in first complaint and I was contacted by them and they affirmed receipt of product but said my bank denied their attempt to wire the refund after I personally went to bank they repeatable said no attemp was made or denied after several conversations about same issue where they said they tried and it was denied and my bank said b.s I ask them just to mail the check but was told only avenue of refund was to account paid with and that's where it stayed for the time gap. Foward to now and I new bank manager took over and I was talking to her about other things and I mention what had happened and how I never got the refund. We'll she looked into it and discovered the problem after placing order with my debit card my account was hacked and I was assigned a new card with different number but account number was same. And that would answer why so many problems . I just called them and explained this only to get run around again. I contacted this company in March to let them know about adverse effects i had when taking their supplements. I was told my account was closed but it wasn't. It was put on "hold" for 30 days so a new shipment was sent. I asked for a refund and submitted the information they said they needed (during my most recent call today) when they assured me I would have a refund issued and then called me back to say they cannot process a refund. Impossible to cancel subscription with predatory and unprofessional behavior. The information on their website gives instructions on how to manage subscriptions, however the links they say to go to do not exist on their website. Next step, email them. I am currently on my fourth reply of asking to cancel, and each time am met with a response from them of putting the account on hold, offering a discount, temporarily closing the account but automatically reopening. I have been clear I do not want any of these options and each time reply to cancel the subscription, which is still not done.Business Response

A family member sent me a gift of a one time Balance of Nature order. A month later I received a second package. I contacted Balance of Nature on 2/21/25 to talk the issue over. They told me on the phone they would refund the $69 to the credit card and I did not need to return the product so I threw the box out buy kept the vitamins (just in case). No refund had occurred and now after many attempts to reach them by phone and chat sessions they tell me that the "return unit" is not available and that they will call me back. They never reach out to me. We are a month down the road they ignore my requests for an address to return the pills to and how to return them and they won't provide the refund we were promised over the telephone.Business Response

In January I ordered and wanted to try Balance of Nature, like the commercials say it good to try. Well I received my first order and started to take it. I started getting pains in my arms and legs and when I went to my primary doctor, she asked me if I started anything new. I told her I dd and she told to to immediately stop, and see if pains stop. Well they did. I then went into my account to stop the new Auto shipment coming, and website and my account said that I could not stop next order from going out. I tried calling company and got the customer service, they listened to my story and sent me to return area which is just a recording and to leave a message. I did and then sent an email too. Well I did not hear anything for the next 3 days. I finally got an email which I can send the correspondence to BBB. My original order was within the 30 day return when I started this process. this email said that The can only refund me one order. I think that is wrong. I tried to stop the auto but was denied, so refusing this was the only recourse. Now I get an email that they are refunded me the refused one, and no mention of a refund or original order. Email received from them do take a few day for answers from them. Please can you help me get my refund for my original order. We are retired seniors and on fixed income

I placed an order for vitamins in early December. It was delivered with no issues. However, I was sent and charged for 2 additional orders that came in January. Tried several times to cancel my order with balance of nature and specifically an order received yesterday that I had advised to cancel. I purchased these on 12/27. The way this product is described and policy is very deceiving. They do not say pills are hard to swallow. They say you can chew (who chews plastic) or open and sprinkle on food. (tastes terrible) They say satisfaction guaranteed or your money back. It doesn't clearly state money back only if you are a preferred customer. I tried taking these pills all 3 ways described and am unable to tolerate. On 1/13/25, I contacted Balance of Nature requesting a refund. This was their response: "I have received and reviewed your refund request. Balance of Natures Return Policy is only valid for your first Preferred Customer order within the first 30 days. Unfortunately your refund request falls outside of the Return Policy and is no longer eligible for a return. This is because you did not order as a preferred customer as you had only placed a one time order and not the subscription. Please keep your Balance of Nature products! Do not return them as a refund will not be available." So here I sit with 160 capsules that I wont take and am out $60.00. Buyer please read carefully if you order.Business Response

We are sorry that you find the supplement capsules difficult to swallow. Many of our customers say that they prefer swallowing the capsules with food. The hypromellose we use to encapsulate our supplements isnt plastic, but rather a completely plant-based and edible vegetable material.

I sent back the second order unopened as per your instructions for a refund with the guarantee of a refund for the first order because I was not satisfied with the results!
