Did not properly submit my taxes and failed to maintain good communication and took little to no action to resolve the issues that arose even after dozens of emails

I will echo everything being said below. I would give negative stars if possible. The service we have received from Tax Sentry has been awful. They were recommended to us by a group my wife was involved with (we later found out that group got a kickback from ************************ who outsourced us to Tax Sentry). We are not knowledgeable when it comes to taxes, which is why we hired them. They have no showed us on scheduled calls, they gave us no advice on how to make our tax bill smaller, they never answered their phone calls and rarely called us back after repeated attempts. Then in May, we received two separate letters from State and Federal saying we underpaid our taxes. We reached out to them several times to find out what the deal was and they finally got back to us and said not to worry about it, they would call and take care of it and that we most likely didn't owe anything. It is now Sept. and they still hadn't done anything but occasionally promise they would take care of it. They finally called and not only do we owe because of mistakes they made or didn't take care of in time, but we now also owe interest. They not only didn't save us money, they cost us money! They are nice enough guys, but their service is some of the worst I've ever experienced and they don't know what they are doing. They really should not be in this business. Please do not do business with this company if you value your money.

This company is awful, and I'm having the same exact issues other people are complaining about here. I submitted all my business and personal tax information on time along with my business partner, came to find out in 2022 that our 2020 taxes were not submitted on time, and now I'm dealing with a sh*tshow because these people couldn't do their job properly. DO NOT work with this company. They will make a mess out of your personal and business taxes and then have you deal with all the fallback from the *** and your state taxation department.

they suck! I can only give zero stars.In 2020, they failed to report all my income. I provided all necessary docs. I didnt get the first notification from the *** until spring of 2023. I tried to contact the company. The only way they will talk is you have to make an appointment for them to call you. they refuse to simply send me an email or text. They admitted to making the mistake in 2020. they promised to fix it and do 2022 tax filing for free. They did neither and since that time I have been unable to get any resolution, or communication from them.I tried to request relief of penalties and interest from *** but no luck. The *** doesnt care that it took them two years to let me know there was an issue with the return. They dont care that I was accruing3% interest on the unpaid tax for those two years. I now owe $7812 in unpaid tax, penalties and interest. This company cost me $1890 This is money I dont just have laying around.

Very poor communication, these people do not return calls IF they pick up the phone.

This company is rhe WORST company ever! I filed my taxes with this company on March 15, 2023 and they still have not processed my taxes and they are LATE! Like the other reviews, they fail to call you back and always send generic emails talking about your file is in queue! This is some BS and they should be removed from this type of service. There's no way they have a score of A-. They have failed so many customers. I'm at the point where I don't know what to do, continue to wait or stop my services. This is ridiculous and VERY UNACCEPTABLE!

I am a new customer of Tax. ********************. After paying them and submitting all my tax information to them to complete my 2023 taxes; I get no response from them when I call and their offices for follow up. I submitted all my information by 3/27/23. it is now 4/14/23 I still have no information from them. I do not know if my federal or state taxes have beef filed. They will not communicate via telephone. it appears from my experience and reviewing others opinions that I have made a serious mistake using these people.

I have been a client for seven years and I sent my tax information via the Smart vault over a month ago and have had two emails from them one, that they got the files and two, we don't have a date when they will have my taxes done. I have left countless voices messages and emails with no response since then. I have paid them up front, so I guess they do not care to respond. I cannot delete my files from the vault, and I cannot contact anyone for a refund. The BBB should call this place immediately, use the number you have posted here they don't answer it either. I have another company doing my taxes and I would like BBB to help get my money back. FRAUD!

Its been over 2 months and I still dont have my taxes. I call them and they dont answer. In my emails they keep stringing me along or just dont answer at all. I need my taxes asap now because I need to file for financial aid since school is starting next week and I still havent due to waiting patiently for Tax Sentury to give me my taxes back. It is a bummer knowing that I may have to lose so much money that I spent on ************************ and Tax Sentury - thousands of dollars, for me to get this type of service. I will never work with them again, nor do I ever recommend anyone to. Biggest mistake ever.

The operations within this company in my opinion are criminal. The countless emails and phone calls and the lack of follow-through is deplorable. I have done everything that I could to try to resolve the issues that was created due to Tax Sentry errors. I have errors on my taxes that now that I will have to contend with and resolve on my own. The services that they claimed that would be provided that was outlined in the package that I purchased was never provided. You make appointments via their calendly link and at the day of the appointment no calls are received. ******************* the ***** is incompetent and lacks professional courtesy to the client. If I could give them a zero rating I would. I will seek third party assistance to assist me with a resolution
