We signed a contract with Texas Roof Support on Sept 07 to do an extensive remodel of our living space. This included removing an interior brick partition, raising a sunken living room, replacing flooring, removing an interior door and window and replacing with French doors and a transition step down into adjacent room, removal of some door trims and retexturing and painting. The job was supposed to be done in **** days (worst case scenario). The tiles were not removed prior to the floor being raised, so the transitions are unlevel, the subfloor is already sagging and there are numerous voids under the flooring. The flooring was installed prior to the painting and was not protected so it is scratched. The door trims were not removed prior to texturing so there is different texturing from where they were removed. The texturing is inconsistent and uneven throughout. The French doors were hung uneven and do not close. We have also identified many damages to the home that were not within the scope of the work. These are itemized in an attached document, but include scratched/broken appliances, and paint splatter/transfer, among other things. We raised concerns about the project early on and were assured they would be addressed but they never were. We caught the project manager lying telling us a supervisor had gone out to inspect the work (confirmed by our security cameras), management began ignoring us and they began putting finishes on things that hadn't been fixed (baseboards over unlevel flooring, etc). They were also moving very slowly and skipping entire days, so we called them off last Thursday (Day 23 of the work). We are seeking a full refund, plus reparations for the damages done to the appliances and the rest of the house. They offered $6k refund, but every aspect of the job except the brick removal will need to be fixed or redone, plus, even though we haven't been able to fully assess the damages, they are already in excess of $3k.
