In March 2024 I purchased a Ram 1500 pickup truck. Shortly after purchasing the truck I discovered there was an open recall for the vehicle (14Z46182 Safety Recall Z46), I had the recall completed on April 10, 2024; The High Pressure Fuel Pump, Injector Fuel Tubes, and Fuel Filter were replaced by Port Lavaca Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep.On September 6, 2024 my truck quit running and I had it towed to ROKS DIESEL to be evaluated for the cause. Roks Diesel checked it on September 16, 2024 and said the High Pressure Fuel Pump failed and metal particles were throughout the fuel system and that the complete fuel system must be replaced and the tank cleaned. The fuel was checked for contamination and none was found.I called *********** Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep to see what I should do; I was told to tow it in and they would perform a duplicate recall. I explained that it needed to be towed from Victoria, **, so they suggested I save some money and have it towed to Victoria Dodge, Ram, Chrysler, Jeep.Victoria Dodge, Ram, Chrysler, Jeep evaluated the truck and confirmed the high pressure pump was defective, and the fuel was contaminated. I would have to pay to remove, reinstall, and clean the fuel tank due to fuel contamination. I was unsuccessful in negotiating with them over charging me for the cleaning of the fuel tank, and agreed to pay because I needed transportation. I contacted ************ and submitted all the documents necessary for reimbursement of my costs, which was rejected. I gave them a bad review on their handling of the situation, and they put me through the whole process again and declined the reimbursement a second time.I do not think it is my responsibility to pay the $1280.99 to clean remove, reinstall, and clean my fuel tank when this is listed as part of the recall on the ***** website. My husband and I are trying to trade in 2 of our vehicles for a used one. We found a nice used **** excursion and spoke with the manager at Victoria chrysler dodge jeep ram. We made our intentions VERY clear that we wanted a payment around ******* and we were told that they would make it work, and we were told they would hold this certain vehicle for us (we had to drive over 6 hours to get to the dealership) we put down a $500 depositto place the vehicle on hold. When we got to the dealership the next morning we were informed they had sold the vehicle we had put a hold on, the manager refused to work with us and left us with a sales associate who knew nothing about the deal and situation we had already worked out with the manager. We feel we had to wool pulled over our eyes just to get us to the dealership and so they could try to sell us a new vehicle well beyond our previous payment deal. It cost us a lot of gas (in this economy) to get there only to be lied to.Business Response

This place has the Absolute worse service department ever. Had my car towed there on a Tuesday morning( P rior to my car completely not working i scheduled to get everything thing fixed. *** said he needed to submit it to my warranty. Literally 3 weeks go by of me calling and he tells me he was with a customer and would call me back in 15 minutes. Never heard from him that day. I called back the next day and he tells me his computer has been down and that I have to bring my car back in... Then nothing. Finally my care completely breaks down and had to be towed and i Had an apt for 830 Tuesday ) no one even looked at it until I called that Thursday to get a status. After calling Thursday still didn't hear anything back so I called back on Saturday and still nothing had been done to my vehicle. I called Monday and raised ****, finally Tuesday( a week later) they look at my car, submit the claim to my warranty, my warranty overnights the parts HOWEVER, the mechanic tells me even though its only 3.5 hours of work my car won't be done until Friday! Its now Thursday and still haven't even got an update or apology. I've been over a week without my car and not one time did they offer a loaner etc. since they just neglected to look at my car. No one had any sincerity or care or urgency. it is now Friday and I have called again and still they have not fixed my car.Business Response

I purchased a Wag 1 on Aug 28th since this day its been h*** My car is back in the shop. I took it in Sept 14th and it is still there. I took it in for a noise under the hood area, back window leaking and my hatch was also leaking. That same afternoon i checked on it, I was told it was minor. I've been checking on it daily or so, there is NO communication with service.On Sept 20th I went in and spoke with **************, explained how upset I am with my Wag and all these issues im having and no communication. I explained to him if service cant fix it put me into a different one. He went to tell me that I would have to pay the difference, Oh no sir, not happening. He said I can buy your car for $56,500. I said NO. He did go and find me a white one but wanted me to pay $6 more. My banker did not approve that. Why, this is on yall not me. Now to Thurs the 22nd, **** calls from service states my car is ready. I told him I would be there Friday to pick up. I get there Friday to pick up my car and find that both windows were leaking and now I have water stains in the paint. I showed ***** what I found, he called ****, basically **** stated that it was on me the customer not **********************. I asked why, this is yalls issue. This is something that dodge doesnt cover. Back in the loaner I go. That same night i messaged ***** and explained what I found and he said he stated they would get it fixed. Here we are Tues the 27th and still today NO ONE has called me NOTHING. I keep calling and leaving messages and NO response. This is all uncalled for and very unprofessional. I paid alot of money for my Wag. On top of my first payment has already came out. Not to mention the same day I bought my Wag, we bought my daughter a new Jeep wrangler. At this point I am asking that they put me into another wag or buy my wag back for the amount I paid for it. I feel that the service has gone down hill very bad. I will NEVER by another vehicle from Dodge again. Having trouble uploading videos!
