  On 6/17/23.Age 78 Purchase solar panels from Southern Solar LLC. ******* regret big time that he made the decision to get solar panel. His Energy bill have been extremely high Southern Solar was paying high bill for him cuz they knew it was a problem. Never fixed the issue. ********** informed us that the system was under producing and to contact the installer and ask them to check for orientation problems we did that on October 1st 2023 and was told we need more panels we informed ***** ********** ****** nothing was solved. Also the contract with ****** 7/13/2023 was signed incorrectly by **** he doesn't sign his name like that. Solar Energy bill is running $200, $290.00 monthly it's ridiculous unbelievable. He would like to be out of the contract, reimburse for all the high energy bills and remove the panels immediately from his house. ******* wasn't explained anything about the panels really, he's confused and unhappy with Southern Solar. As of 2/10/2025 things still the same. Can't reach anyone at company phone just rings. To whom it may concern: please help. Southern Solar. We have documentation and emails to show.

  Dont buy anything from this company. All they do is lie and run a scam. They will get their money from the loan company starting your payment before they ever show up. They will promise you anything but in reality they dont do anything. At first they would answer the phone and send someone out when they got good and ready. The system would work for a couple weeks then go down again. Now I cant even get them to call me back and they never answer the phone. Last months bill was $250 and this months $450 plus the payment for the panels. The highest electric bill I ever paid was $350 and I have been living here for over 20 years. I filed a BBB complaint against them and they made me all kinds of promises but didnt fix anything. They charge you for a high end system but install junk. They will promise you that they will monitor your system, which is another lie. The people they send out to install your system cant speak english. Not sure they are even legals. They broke into my shop, should have called the law and had them arrested. But was trying to accommodate. **************** DONT DEAL WITH THEM. SCAMMERS AND LIARS.

  The biggest scam ever! Do not fall and sign anything with this Solar company. They are a big fraud. Biggest mistake done as a First time homeowner. They will lie to you and say your electricity bill will be lower Than what you already pay and lie saying the system you have been approved for will give you all the savings. LIE! They work on an independent grid so when lights go off yours will remain. LIE! I posted a review warning others 6 months ago because once everything is installed they ghost you. I had been needing to contact them for weeks and no answer due to system not working properly. They finally called me within 30 minutes from posting my review. They made all this promises and asked for me to remove the review and they will take care of everything until the issue was resolved. I got offered money as long as I removed the review!! And I'm sure half the people with 5 star reviews got offered compensation in order to remove their 0 star review. It's a Shame went ******* Solar to Solatru and now Solar *** That's too funny. The "Vice President" ******* who was helping us out kept giving us excuses saying there was layoffs and misled us and had us waiting for a check to cover our loan expenses because our system was not working properly at the time. Here we are weeks later never received payment and our loan was sent to collections with a blocked system! WAY TO GO!! They earned themselves a LAWSUIT! PLEASE BE AWARE AND DON'T FALL FOR THEIR SCAM. Luckily, I have proofs and proofs of everything that was promised since the agent came to sell us!

  This company took advantage of my 80 year old mother in law they didn't give her time to talk to her kids about this her roof leaks because of the panels she pays a loan payment on these panels besides a crazy electric bill. My husband is over her finances because she has memory issues! I'm so sick of people taking advantage of the elderly this company is horrible!

  They should come and get there panels and pay these loans off. I have had 70 panels from this company on my place since 2021 they finally came out last year and only paid a portion of the electric bills that this did not cover. Several Panels had been down for months resulting in high electric bills. They offered to pay the loan off and for us to go another direction in leasing them which meant they would never be ours and the payments would go up every month indefinitely. and here we are again less than a year later. My contacted them back in August about some of the panels being down I contacted them a week ago they said they would check on it and get back to me and again today. the *** said he would get with the main office and get back to me yet again. they do not honor there contracts. They do not get back to you and they have the nerve to come back to your home to try and sell you more c*** because what they sold you the first time wasn't enough. I have friend and family who less than half of the panels I have on my place with way bigger homes.They got there from different companies and have yet to pay an electric bill. They should be put out of business We work hard for our money just throw it in the trash because of cons like this. And it seems like there is no way out. What ever you do don't do business with them.

  08/09/2024 The solar panels were installed in 2022, the Company said they do not have sub-contractors that the Company does all their installation/serving. l was told that we will have electric bills about $0 - $15.00 a month, but since we put on the solar panel which was 48 panels, they added that (putting the right amount of panels) to generate enough power. The electric bills has been higher than it was even before the solar was installed. They told me to put more panels so that my bills will amount to nothing. I called them before in 2023, to complain about the high electric bills amounting to $ ******, and above a month, that l was getting which wasn't what I was told before purchasing the solar panels, the Company asked me to send the electric bills so that they would resolve the issue. After sending the electric bills I did not hear from them again. When I called them, there will not be a response, and they did not return my messages. This Company deceived me into purchasing these solar panels which were not working. This Company deserves a "0" rating instead of "1". I'm sure, I am not the only customer complaining about the ineffectiveness, and untruthfulness of this Company. I want them to come and remove the solar system, and repair my roof.

  THIS COMPANY TAKES ADVANTAGE OF THE ELDERLY AND DISABLED!! THEY TOLD US OUR ELECTRIC BILL WOULD NOT BE OVER $50, AND IT HAS NOT DROPPED. THEY TOLD US WE DID NOT HAVE TO HAVE BATTERY BACK UP IN THE EVENT OF POWER LOSS!! WE WERE WITHOUT ELECTRICITY FOR 6 DAYS IN JUNE OF 2023!! WHEN WE FINALLY REACHED SOMEONE THEY AGREED TO COME TO MY HOUSE AND DISCUSS OUR OPTIONS FOR HANDLING OUR SITUATION AND THEY WERE GOING TO BRING US 20 MORE PANELS FOR FREE AND A GENERATOR TO BE ABLE TO HOLD THE LOAD FOR MY HOUSE, THEY HAVE NOT. AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD PAY OUR ELECTRIC BILL FOR US UNTIL THE PANELS STARTED WORKING FOR US PROPERLY,. THEY HAVE NOT!!!!! THEY LIED TO MY MOTHER WHO IS ************************************************************************** CALL ANY ONE BACK. THEY HAVE NOW CHANGED THEIR NAME SO THEY THINK THEY DO NOT HAVE TO FULFILL THE PROMISES THEY MADE TO **. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL. I HOPE THEY DONT RUIN YOUR CREDIT LIKE THEY DID MY MOTHER. SPEND YOUR MONEY ON A **** RACK GENERATOR. NOT SOLAR PANELS.

  i have had my panels for two years ,the sales man promise me 100 percent offset, my light bills were 280 to 300 a month without solar ,stayed the same and now paying 310 extra for solar panels the company won't answer me they try to get me to sign another contract.

DO NOT FALL FOR IT I DONT KNOW HOW THEY ARE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF SO MANY PEOPLE AND NOTHING IS BEING DONE ABOUT IT.   I wouldnt even give this company a star at all they lied to me about how much money Id be pay*** if I went solar . I havent saved anyth*** with the electricity bill and solar panel payments Ive been pay*** the same amount if not more weather I had solar panels or not the **** th***s dont work they referred me to a company that does the buy back on produced energy that hasnt been used also a crock of s*** . I got the solar panels in July of 2021 . I was only given a 1 yr warranty what type of s*** is that on someth*** I am pay*** for for the next 30 f *** years I want my money back and I want them to pay my bills be*** a s***le mother isnt easy and hav*** to pay for somethIng that Im not benefit*** from isnt someth*** Im to happy about either so Im told by my father that has had solar panels for quite some time now but lives in ******** were supposed to have 2 meters I only have 1 my dads electric bill is $10.00 a month Im pay*** over 200. Plus a month and in the winter time Im pay*** more I was told by ********************* who was my rep that I wouldnt be pay*** more than $30.00 dollars a month only 3 months out of this entire time I only had a $0.00 balance after that it skyrocketed to 5 and 6 hundred dollars so talk about false advertis*** even if it comes from there reps ****** its all a crock of s*** so unhappy with this company but Im stuck with there s*** . I need an explanation and I need a lot of money back on top of solar panels that should be work*** and more warranty time on there equipment. This company is so unprofessional its unbelievable
