We have been in the process since June and were told the process takes three to four months by multiple employees..we are now being told an estimated completion date of early January. I feel as if the company is misleading their consumers with completion dates and timelines. We are still awaiting the clean up crew's results for concrete splatter on one side or our home along and other various issues. I will provide updates further along the process.

After signing a contract 2 weeks prior to start date we were contacted by ***** stating that the price would increase by $4200 and that we could agree to the increase or get a refund. We chose to get a refund, and it took them 8 weeks to finally receive our money. They gave us 1/2 and told us they would give us the other 1/2 three weeks later because the company was trying to recoup funds in order to give customers the refunds. If they dont have the money to return to their clients how can you expect them to have the funds to finish your job. Do you research, pay attention to reviews. Looks like this is a pattern for this company. Once had great reviews but their contract means nothing as in the small print on the back of the contract one sentence says theyre allowed to do just about anything they choose. Covering themselves and not their clients. I had to be on them constantly in order to receive my refund.Alamo Pool Builders Response

Unfortunately we were all subject to the excessive inflation for the costs of materials and we could not start construction at the cost quoted. Before we started we reached out to our clients with the increase or refund deposit which we have.Review from David S

Alamo pools is terrible. After signing a fixed price contract and placing a deposit on our $72k pool, they said they forgot some items in the pricing and needed to adjust. We agreed to the initial increase of $3k. Then they come back a month later and state they would need to raise the price again by 10% for all customers. They did not honor the fixed price contract and are complete crooks. Stay away from this contractor at all costs. Worst experience ever with any sort of contractor. The way they treat their customers, they will likely be gone soon along with your money. Avoid!!!!Alamo Pool Builders Response

Unfortunately the price of all materials had increased exponentially due to this terrible inflation we have all been subject to and we could not build the pool for the quoted price.All monies have been refunded....
