I had been taking my ****** child to ***** for care for the last several months and requested referral for speech therapy. The doctor advised that it would not be a problem and to call back with the therapist I wanted the referral for. Upon calling back and providing that information, ***** called me back regarding the referral I requested to get additional information, but thereafter went silent over a 2 month period ***** and failed to respond to numerous written requests and phone call follow-ups regarding the speech therapy referral. I tried calling the doctor, their office manager, multiple requests on their online portal requesting status or at leas advice on how to move forward. Ultimately, I had to file a complaint with ***************. The complaint prompted ***** to promise to *************** to provide the referral within 24 hours of the call from ***************; however, the 24 hour period passed and the referral never came through. After two months of ***** withholding care and stonewalling, more importantly to one of the most vulnerable children in state care, I had to make the decision to change pediatricians. One appointment with the new pediatrician's office and she was able to quickly observe the concern and provide the referral. It is amazing how one doctor's office stonewalled for over 2 months, and the same request at another pediatrician's office was resolved in 24 hours. This is one of the more frustrating examples of an issue with the ***** practice, but within the short amount of time there were numerous other issues. As a result of *****'s practice, I cannot recommend them. "
