I made a huge mistake. I hired Two Men and a Truck to help take a sofa from upstairs to downstairs. Simple 15 minute job but I needed help taking care of it. I used Two Men and a Truck for my move from ****** to *********** and that location did phenomenal! Loved them, customer service, cost etc. So when we arrived I thought I'd hire them again. Well I'm guessing it was a chain. They charged me an additional $75 for insurance which I verbally said I didn't want but signed in error. I quickly called them to correct it and issue refund. They said they would do it but never did. I made an additional 3-5 phone calls. They said they would credit but never did. Do not work with this location. Not professional at all.Two Men and A Truck Response

I checked our contact log and it does look like one of the CSR's put a note in the system about the refund for valuation, we apologize this hasn't been refunded yet and will email our accounting team to do so now, you should receive the $75 back to you within 5-7 business days.Review from Kayla H

I used these movers 3/27/2023, to relocate my belongings from ****** ** to *********** **. The first thing the two gentlemen did upon arrival was complain that the job was bigger then what was on the paperwork. They then proceeded to tell me that if my stuff didn't fit I was going to have to call and schedule a second trip which was not agreed upon, so I already had a bad taste in my mouth. Everything gets loaded and my 65" curved ********** is the last thing to make its way on the truck. The two gentleman made a judgment call to put the ** behind their seats which they did not do gracefully. Make it SA unwrap the ** only to find out that it is broken and cracked. The driver filed a claim and said I would be contacted in 1-2 days. I was never contacted, I ended up speaking to a woman named **** *** who said she would call me back. Never did. So I again called her. She tells me they will not be reimbursing me because I signed a release of liability. I relayed to **** *** that I was never told that I was signing for the televisions only for the appliances. I had a ** broken in my last move and would never signed it had I known such a thing. She then said it was my responsibility to read what I signing. Well the gentleman ***** having me sign my paperwork was not showing me he was telling me and one would think they could trust what they are being told. Plain and simple it is not a small item, they are trying to do everything they can to not take responsibility for what they did. I moved with a fully functional working ** and I expect to have a fully functioning working ** when I pay $3000 to have my stuff moved. People may movers to move stuff because they can't move it themselves and it's very apparent this company takes advantage of people with no remorse. You broke it take responsibility for it. Own it. And make it right. Two Men and A Truck Response

We do have a signed Release of Liability form from **************** which we have all our customers fill out if their TV's aren't in the original box, or if they don't purchase one from us. We still pad and wrap the TV's but if they aren't boxed up there is a much stronger likelihood that they could be damaged, so that is why we have customers sign after reading that form. Even though we have that form signed we are still going to pay her out based on the contract she signed which is for our basic insurance and covers ****c per pound for a item is damaged. From the info **** *** received this TV weighs about 65 lbs so based off the contract that was signed we will be offering $39.00. I am willing to bump this up to $75.00 for **************** for the inconvenience, but that will be our offer based off what **************** agreed to on her contract.Review from Victoria W

Two Men and a Truck was hired to pack and move my house across *********** in April 2022. After the moving process, I realized that not only was I missing a box containing over $3,000 worth of designer handbags, but my floors were also scraped and damaged and needed repairs. I contacted the manager, ******** multiple times asking for assistance and was instructed to put in a claim for a missing item. Once I did that, I was informed there were cameras on the truck and they would need to check them, although I did not insinuate the items were stolen, only that they were missing from the move. ******** said in a text that they were not able to locate my items, and I would need to file a police report because all of the movers denied taking them. I filed a police report and followed up but was only told that because I could not prove my items were stolen, I would not be reimbursed for the cost of the loss. Getting the floors repaired and going back and forth with quotes about vendors has also been an (expensive) added waste of my time to reconcile the damage done from this one job. I've sent a letter to the ** Jonothan to attempt to further resolve the issue but have been given the run around. Do not recommend allowing them to move expensive valuables - they may go missing, and if you can't prove they stole it, you're out of luck! And if you do hire them, make sure you cover your floors yourself, because they may not be careful, and they'll stick you with another **** to cover. Two Men and A Truck Response

************************ called and said she was missing items from her move, after reviewing the *** in the truck and cameras we found nothing showing that anything was taken or that they stopped anywhere other than coming back to the office. ******** told ************************ she would need to file a police report if she believed her items were stolen in which she did, we had a officer reach out to us 2 weeks ago about the incident and after speaking with her she said she was going to close the issue on her end and let ************************ know that they had no reason to believe theft was involved. As far as the damage goes ******** is working with ************************ already on getting that issue resolved.Review from Anne H

+ Laura came out quickly to see our home/office and give us a quote + Scheduled us for the days we wanted very quickly + Came in under quoted maximum price + Movers professional and very nice - Didn't label boxes with room despite being asked, and their saying they would - Didn't put all furniture in rooms at our new home, but put in garage - Piled all our boxes in the garage floor to ceiling in no order; boxes too heavy for us to lift - Can't find clothes they packed and didn't label. - Fragile boxes (they packed) put on the bottom of piles of boxes--no idea yet if anything is broken - I cannot find boxes labeled OPEN FIRST in large letters--they are buried somewhere. - Not sure if all our furniture with glass is okay since we can't find them in the garage. - Christina reached out to ask what would help; I told her, but no further correspondence or help offered.
