      Rackspace was hacked via ransomeware in December of 2022. At the time we had 2 dozen companies on a guaranteed Exchange account that we were charged by Rackspace a $150 a month for our reseller system. After the system went down we were offered a last minute deal to transfer our accounts to ********* to handle an immediate recovery. We were told that we would be charged $0 until the system was restored completely. After the months of recovery, we were told we could have Rackspace and ********* install ********* Office suite with the ********* to resolve the current issues. They ended up added hundreds of accounts to our system and then informed us 2 months later that we now owe almost $3500 a month. After dozens of calls and emails Rackspace closed our all our email accounts for our dozens of companies.Because of the lack of support and their inability to correct the issue and to not upgrade our account or migrate them correctly. We waited months with limited communications, the accounts that were affected and then Rackspace shut down our accounts again. I reached out to customer support again, I've followed up with support monthly and being told that I need to pay an insane fee to correct the account and no one ever did. I was finally contacted by the *** of Rackspace after several emails... and was informed that the mistake was made by Rackspace and would be corrected immediately.After all the mixups Rackspace promised that we would paid $3323.33 and apology. now Im getting back from Rackspace that there is no money to be paid our company and no apology for their inability to manage or mismanage our accounts! At this point I would like to give Rackspace a huge F for Service and Support.I as A ********* Certified System Engineer, and a ***** Certified Network Professional I know Rackspace used at all cost for any reason or project and if youre currently using Rackspace I recommend that you start looking into changing hosting solutions.

      I asked or a price on email archiving. I did not ask for the service.They started the service and I have asked for three months to stop the service. They told me they did stop the service and still charged me. Close your account with them. Do not wait. Use any other service.***********************

      I'd like to leave zero stars, but have to select one. My journey with rackspace began around 2006, and they were great. Then when my company needed a web host around 2016, we started a rackspace cloud account. Cloud hosting was pretty good, no real issues. Business grew, so we moved to the rackspace managed account. And that is where everything fell apart. The onboarding was terrible. They were sloppy, and didn't even get our order right, which cost us two months before we were able to launch. And to reach the point of correcting the setup, it was pulling teeth. Even after the delay, the setup was still wrong. With the migration to the pricier managed account complete, we needed to close out the cloud account. Naturally, you can't close it online so they can try to upsell you, and had to call, so I did. The person kept trying to upsell me to stay - despite the fact we migrated to their more expensive plan. Eventually they agreed, and required a support ticket stating I wanted all my data deleted. Which we did. The rackspace ticket response explicitly states "...once they (servers) are deleted we will not be able to get any data back" which turns out to be a lie. Not only did they not delete the data, they charged us for not deleting it, and have overbilled us for 18 months. We found the issue after our card on file expired, and they sent a suspension warning. This is not the old rackspace of early ****s, this new rackspace is terrible, they should really change the name because it disrespects their legacy. STAY AWAY.

      Can't cancel online through my account. Had to call. Called in October to cancel and they're still charging my credit card in Nov and Dec. In Dec removed my credit card from my account and called again to have them cancel. Received another **** in January for $2.74. Ignored it. Received a past due notice in Feb. Called and AR said that I needed to provide them with a ticket # from my call in October. Brutal. 42 minutes on the phone arguing over $2.74. Their process ***** and the customer is held hostage as a result.

      After the price increase on my billing, I decided to close out my account. Turns out they charged me for the entire month that took them to close out my account, and disabled me from talking to anyone about my account. Now its under collection, and they wont talk to me about it nor transfer to me to anyone but the first person I call. I have been using them for over 10 years, I am never again using RackSpace nor referring them to anyone ever again.

      I am the owner of a $60 million company with 130+ Rackspace users. Yesterday I was sending an update to our ***** vendors of a new hire in our company. Rackspace shut down my ability to send emails. I've contacted customer support four times and provided proof that I was not spamming anyone, and I still don't have the ability to send emails. My team has had numerous issues with Rackspace over the years, and this issue is the last straw. Seems like the company doesn't understand basic business needs. I shouldn't have to waste hours of my time to try to get this resolved and not be able to do my work while actually paying them for this email service that I cannot use properly. Extraordinarily frustrating.
