      A roof leak was discovered. Multiple attempts to request an appointment (phone and email), resulted in ignored requests. Only to have ************ himself show up, unannounced with no equipment, to say that he would be back on Monday or Tuesday the following week to take a look at it. I was not surprised that he did not show up and continues to ignore my requests to come and inspect the roof leak. I have had two other companies come and inspect the roof for them to both state that the work was a warranty issue and that he should stand behind his warranty. To which I one hundred percent agree. Now I will have not choice but to file a claim in court to recover the expense of having to get another company to do the work. With the mold growth, this could potentially be a health hazard to myself and my animals. After several searches of reviews and complaints, I discovered that this seems to be his approach to business, as multiple other people have made the exact complaints regarding warranty work. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ROOFING COMPANY. Hire a roofing company that will actually stand behind their work and warranty. As I wait for his response, the issue continues to worsen, making the damages to be repaired more expensive.

      We did receive notification from ************** regarding an issue she was having with her roof. We did attempt to contact ************** several times and we did speak with her and listened to her concerns about the roof, She AGREED to meet with us when we arrived. Our scheduling times during the holiday season did not work for ************** as she was seeking immediate attention for her issue and did text me to inform me she was going to make her feeling known on all social medias. Regretfully our records indicate ************** was not the owner of the home at the time of installation and have no written contract with **************. We have no  warranty guarantee agreement with ************** regarding the warranty issue.

      I am rejecting this response because: 

      This guy is full of lies about his communication. I made several calls to him to SCHEDULE a time for his business to come to my home to inspect the leak. I never said I was unavailable for them. I made myself available any day of the week by working form home. He never committed to SCHEDULING anything, only said that he was out of town and would possibly be able to send his son to my home. Which never happened. He then decided that it would be professional enough to stop by my home unannounced to let me know he wasn't avoiding my calls and that he didn't have a ladder to check it out when he stopped by. He stated that he would be by that following Monday or Tuesday. NOT surprisingly, there was no call or shows to my home. I have my phone call logs (attempts to call listed below) that show each attempt to communicate to SCHEDULE an appointment, and nothin ever came of it. I am very patient and understand that weather permitting, there may be a need to reschedule the appointment. There was never one scheduled to begin with. He just kept saying that he would "stop by". I refuse to allow this man to accuse me of not accepting anything he had to offer. He stated; standing in my driveway (unannounced) that he would be back to check it out. I can ask my neighbors for the surveillance that proves he stopped by, but did nothing while he was here. Based on historical reviews of this company, this seems to be a pattern when it comes to standing behind his warranty. Only after I sent him a text letting him know I was filing a complaint against him and would be hiring an attorney, did he ever try to call me back to do something about it. No voicemails were left by him in either of the two calls. Unacceptable. I am currently trying to communicate with previous clients of his that he did the same thing to. Every single one had the same issue...dodging calls and requests to warranty his work. He knows what he is trying to do, and I am not going to sit back and let him get away with such tacky business practice. Here is the list of my attempted communication with him from the beginning. PS...I got his information from the previous homeowner since the roof has an active warranty. Roof replaced in 2018.

      12/16/2022 @ 9:02am ********************* (business owner) calls me right back. Discussed needing to make an APPOINTMENT and all I got was the run around that the weather was going to be raining and that he wouldn't put anyone on a roof with that kind of weather. I am VERY aware of that and totally understand. Never did I say anything to the contrary. I was not at all demanding of an appointment. I was just trying to make one. I was still not given a specific time or day that he would come by. I work two jobs and need to accommodate them accordingly. He just repeated that he would be in touch. Call duration: 4 minutes.

      Leave plenty of time for him to respond. All the while able to schedule a few other roofing companies to come and inspect the roof to provide estimates for repair. I was simply following my homeowners insurance request to get more than one estimate if insurance was to be used. Both of those roofing companies were able to actually schedule an appointment, showed up, and provided the same response. If the roof had a warranty, that it was a warranty issue from installation. That I should wait for him to respond to coming out and looking at it since it was a fairly new roof. 

      12/21/2022 @ 10:06am No answer. Left voicemail. Request also sent through website for an appointment. 

      12/23/2022 @ 1:11pm. Finally a call from Ware Roofing. From my driveway. Unannounced visit. Had his spouse in the truck. Said he just wanted to stop by and let me know he hadn't forgotten about me and that he didn't have a ladder to use to get on roof to look at it. Just wanted to show face and reassure me that he would be back by on Monday or Tuesday to check it out. 

      Monday 12/26/2022.....zero communication. No one shows to inspect roof. 

      Tueday 12/27/2022......zero communication. Until I call at 2:01pm and leave a voicemail. 

      I go digging now. I find several complaints from previous clients, that he did the exact same thing to them. Refused to schedule an appointment and would then dodge their phone calls. This can be found by searching his company reviews. After seeing this, I knew I was getting the run around and decided that I was not going to sit back and accept the fact that this roof has a warranty and that he was not going to stand behind his work. Since he chose to continue to avoid making an appointment or even to just show up, I sent him a text that said exactly what I am doing now, and that message read: 

      12/29/2022 Text message sent to him saying " Good morning, ************. I attempted to contact you earlier this week to see if you were going to make me an appointment to have my roof inspected/repaired. After much frustration of multiple requests and your lack of follow through, I will have no choice but to file a complaint against you to the BBB. Your lack of professionalism is appalling and your lack of interest in standing behind your warranty, is less than appealing. A little research also shows that seems to be a pattern in your business. I have sent a request to my attorney to file a claim against you in court for the cost of the repairs that would otherwise be covered under the warranty you issue for your work. I will also be sure to post to social media your business tactics as to make sure that you cannot continue to fail your customers when it comes to fixing your mistakes. Good luck in your future endeavors. See you in court. -*************************-" 

      12/29/2022 @ 11:18am Incoming call from Ware Roofing. No voicemails left. I was unable to answer, as I was at work. Why the sudden communication might you ask.....maybe due to the complaint that has been filed to the BBB?

      I think it goes without saying that this is a man that is now scrambling to pick up the pieces of the **** left on his business due to his own choices. I gave more than ample time to at least call me back like a professional would and schedule an appointment to come and look at my roof. There are ************ for that type of behavior to be projected onto people that are simply asking for a company to uphold the agreement within the warranty. In the ************** this falls under Breach of Contract Law. I was patient and understanding, until I realized that I was being ignored. 

      I am still waiting to hear back form the previous persons that experienced this same tactic. I am also in discussion with an attorney for filing in small claims court to recover what should have been covered with the warranty, plus all the other fees and time I have now and will spend trying to find resolution. The repair is scheduled to be corrected by another roofing company. You can surely understand why, even if he wanted to step up and do the right thing now, that it simply could not be trusted work. My complaint will not go away. He is in the wrong and he knows it!!
