My father was buried at this location on may 9th of this year. My sister filed a work order to have them come out t fix his gravesite because it was sinking in. It appears they just threw dirt on it and didnt fix anything. The gravesite looks horrible for 23k that was spent with them. This is unacceptable and needs to be resolved asap and not do a half behind job on it. They should have respect for the deceased as well as their loved ones who spent a lot of money to bury them in that trash placeBusiness response

Good morning,
Thank you for reaching out to us with this individual's concerns. Following all interments, the grave soil will naturally settle following a burial. Oftentimes we made several visits to recent sites and continue to add dirt until the ground is completely settled and dirt has successfully compacted. We were fortunate to have experienced much needed rains which will cause the dirt to settle quicker, oftentimes settlement is more extreme during these times.
I did not see a name of their loved on in the notice. If they can please provide me with their name, I will be able to locate their interment site and make a site visit to determine if more attention to their site is needed.

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution has to be satisfactory because my sister went today after the complaint was filed 2 days ago and it was miraculously fixed for ***************************. I tried to attach the picture but file was too big it did not allow it. I understand how the settling of the ground works and rest assure if it happens again and not fixed in a timely manner the whole process will continue all over again.

My parents are buried at Mission Park Funeral South they invested their hard earned money to plan their final resting place together but where they are located they have had a corroded water pipe that has already in past to which we had to replace headstone due to excessive water exposure from that leaky corroded water pipe. It is hazardous and harmful but instead of it being replaced it is ignored.I have complained numerous times and replaced my parents headstone due to so much water damage that lasted so long even thought I kept calling them to remind them and asking assistance .It gets put a band aid that only does short term remedy but the pipe water sprinkler faucet is so old and molded and out dated it continues to leak each time they turn on other sprinklers close by . It is so annoying to see that my parents worked so hard to get this cemetery plot for them both to be together but get no respect at all they both deserve .I was visiting my parents Cemetery .plot on 10FF and once again the ongoing problem of that leaking faucet that is corroded needs to be replaced . We have already had to replace my parent's headstone to which I thought was not our fault since it was caused by something out of our control. I am attaching report that was done in 5/11/2021 to which I was told it would be addressed but as I saw today problem still exists now . Please contact me back as soon as possible .Business response

First of all, in reviewing our records with the Better Business Bureau today, this complaint from 2021 was discovered as not replied to by our firm. Had I not looked at the BBB site today, I would have not known this ever existed. So our apologies for that. We *** need to research where such complaints are being sent to so we can ensure the right individual (s) is / are notified.
With regards to the comments by the complainant, we are sorry for any inconvenience they *** have been caused. Please note that Cemeteries are not required to provide irrigation. Mission Park is however fortunate that we have irrigation for the families that inter their loved ones in our park. Water will never cause any damage to a loved one's memorial in any manner. Water (rain or irrigation) *** however cause water stains that *** result in having to clean off of a memorial as time goes on. In this case, I noticed the family has a bronze plaque on a granite base for their loved one. As time passes, the bronze plaque will naturally patina as it is a precious metal. Overtime it will never appear to have the finish and shine it did when it was new. This is natural of any bronze plaque in the park.
Our water is only turned-on during weekdays between the hours of 9:00am - 5:00pm when permission is granted by the **** under our watering permit and does not run or leak outside of these times. I found there to be no issues with the irrigation riser that is near their spaces.
