On Wednesday, Dec. 28, I brought my dog in for emergency services due to a dog attack. A Great **** attacked my dog while I was walking him in the neighborhood. The person walking the dog lost control of the Great ***** and it attacked my dog, causing him to have a puncture wound and some tears in his chest area. Around 11pm on Dec. 28, the clinic Angel of Mercy Animal Critical Care Clinic informed me I could take my dog home. They administered medication for him, and one was an antibiotic. The nurse included medicines in a plastic bag. I got home and noticed there were only three in the bag and not four. The one missing was the Baytril 68 that costs $71.47. It's an antibiotic. I contacted the ******** on Dec. 29 by phone to let them be aware, but the person on the phone spoke to the vet tech and accused me of lying and stated the vet tech gave me all four medicines. She accused me that I did in fact have the missing medication, and she asked me to check in my car. I did not find any antibiotics. She says because there was no proof, the clinic would have to charge me again but with a discount. I told her I will not pay for something that was not my fault. Also, the owner of the dog who attacked mine paid for the entire vet bill. I gave the owner the number of the clinic and told her the situation. So, I'm filing this formal complaint for an extreme lack of customer service and a complete disregard for my well-being. The doctor **************** was extremely condescending to me over the phone, and he praised the owner of the dog because she paid the pill, and did not show empathy toward me. It was almost as if he was blaming me for the dog attack even though animal control has confirmed the owner was in violation of the law. I will be contacting my attorney as well to include this as a part of my claim.Business response

I verified with the technician who filled the medications for Kobi. She stated that she talked to the owner of Kobi on the phone and went over the medications, then she went outside to the car of the owner and showed her the 4 bottles of medications which included the bottle of Baytril. She then signed and acknowledgement of receipt of the medications. The owner was told that she would receive a discount of $20 to come get more Batril since she received and signed off that she received all of the medications which included the Batril. She has not returned for medication.
