On 3 31 2022 I went to my first and only dental appointment at ************************** and was seen strictly for an exam, xray and cleaning; never returned to this dentist. The procedures performed were covered by MetLife dental fedvip; I did not make any payment to the clinic. The Metlife dental EOB for DOS 3 31 2022 included charges for two crowns 9 and 13 that were not rendered. The dentist owes MetLife $627+ $25 = $652 for the two crowns on the claim submitted by the clinic personnel.Enclosed are 4 exhibitsBusiness response

I was notified on 10/18/2022 by the ***************************** to issue a refund check to Metlife on behalf of *******************************. On 10/19/2022 check number **** for $652.00 was issued and mailed to:

I am rejecting this response because: To date there is no evidence that a refund was received by MetLife. No proof of refund has been submitted; the benefit paid to MetLife is still $652 on the 3 31 2022 EOB Dentist *****************************; MetLife DENTAL FEDVIP reps indicate no refund has been received to date.

To who it may concern,
We did issue this reimbursement in Oct per the prior response. MetLife deposited the check and it cleared our account on 11/2/2022. I have attached a copy of the cashed check from **** of America for proof payment has been made and received. I feel MetLife has not yet updated their records. If we can be of further assistance please let us know.

In late January of 2022. I went to ********* Dental for tooth pain. They did lots of exams and x-rays and scheduled me for one week out. Before leaving, I prepaid something like 900 dollars for my upcoming procedures. There was freezing weather on the day of my appointment so we rescheduled. About two weeks later, I show up to the apartment. I was nervous because they didn't provide nitrous gas for the procedure. They recommended I go to their sister clinic to get seen. They made an appointment for me later that day. I show up at the sister clinic. Long story short, after one hour of waiting, I was told I had to wait until the weekend to be seen because the doctor, who I was told would do my procedure that day, would not be in until then. I leave and call the original clinic to let them know what happened and asked for my money back so that I can get seen someone else. I was told a manager would be calling me shortly. The manager calls and leaves a voicemail saying she wants to make sure I get taken care of. I return the call a couple of days later and again ask for my money back. Again, the front desk apologizes and says they are so sorry. They want to work something out for me. So the woman says she will be calling me later that day. It's now been two weeks and I still haven't heard back. They still have my 900 dollars which is keeping me from getting my teeth taken care of at another clinic. My teeth are absolutely killing me. It's not mid March and my teeth are exactly as they were in late January.Business response
