On November 17, 2023 ******** from Fosters Steamer Carpet Cleaning came to my house at 11;30 am. ******** said he would need to do more work mainly on the carpet in the living room and dining room due to the condition of the carpet and he would have to up the price to $307.00 which I agreed to pay. Now I want to stress the importance of ******** never telling me that he would not be able to clean my carpet due to the condition and some stains on the carpet. He made the choice to clean my carpet seeing how the carpet looked before he decided to clean it. Once ******** started to clean the carpet it appeared to look like most of the stains were coming off and the carpet was looking much better. ******** finished cleaning the carpet around 3:00 pm and the carpet was very wet and he said it would take about 4 hours to dry, but the carpet didn't get completely dry until the following morning which was Saturday November 18, 2023. On Saturday morning the same previous stains were still on the carpet after ******** had cleaned the carpet. I used a bottle of Bissell OXY Spot and Stain to remove most of the stains in certain areas on the carpet in the living room, dining room, and in one of the bedrooms. It took me about 1 hour and 30 minutes to remove the majority of the stains. I called to speak with the owner of the company at Fosters Steamer Carpet Cleaning and the gentlemen I spoke with said he was the owner. The gentlemen said his name was either ****** or *****. The first letter of his first name started with a D. He said I was not going to get a refund because my carpet was so dirty and so bad, and ******** should have never cleaned my carpet in the first place. He also went on to say that ******** only cleaned my carpet to be nice and they have pictures/videos of how bad the carpet was. I informed the gentlemen I also took pictures before and after and if ******** was never suppose to clean my carpet then he should have just told me that instead.
