Went to Gloria's for a business happy hour meeting and then it went left....... I ordered one bloody Mary and drank it, then proceeded to the restroom and became ill. When Claudia, the server, brought me another drink, I stated I did not want another Bloody Mary as it was extremely tart and was not pleasant. Instead I ordered a Cosmo. So, at this point, I had 2 beverages. After the great Cosmo and sitting there for over 3 hrs with a party of 4 ordering food/drinks, Claudia (in front of my boss) advised me that I had 2 drinks and "was at my limit." I then said..."ok... thats fine...im not going to take issue over a drink" Especially not in front of my boss... so I then ordered some chicken nachos to go, because at that point we had been there 3 hrs and apparently 2 drinks in 3 hrs is "meeting my limit." So, then the nachos come out with beans....which i specifically requested were not on the nachos. I asked Claudia to take them off my bill as we were wrapping up and on our way out. Instead, Claudia brought back to me another set of nachos and despite me telling her that we had previously spoken about her taking them off the check because I was ready to go, she basically refused and shoved the "to-go" bag at me and stated I needed to "just take it....its fixed....just take it." I asked for a Manager and Lorena came over and recalled me and our group and stated that she was sorry, etc. However, I will not be returning with any colleagues or having any meetings or events at Gloria's any further. Claudia served me 2 drinks in almost 4 hrs and then proceeded to tell me (in front of my boss) that 2 drinks was my limit.....then tried to force me to accept nachos that I clearly told her to remove from my tab because they were incorrect the first time and I was not going to wait for them to be corrected...and at this point...I was ready to leave... completely unprofessional and defamatory behavior from Claudia. Lorena recalled our group and tried her best to help.
