"An elderly family friend paid $10,000 for a Lennox AC unit and has had nothing but issues, it has an issue at least every 6 months, the unit is only a few years old as of today and he has to spend another $1300 to replace the freon, once again., part was covered due to alot of arguing on his part but even with a bad part that caused the freon to evaporate/leak/ etc he is the one responsible for the cost." ... I learned that Lennox requires new homeowners to register each unit within 60 days in order to qualify for extended warranty REMOVEDmy case, this requirement was not clearly disclosed to me at the time of purchase or installation." ...
