I've been going to dolphin docks for 32 years and I will never be back after this year. Only gave us old re frozen shrimp to fish with. 9hr trip and instead of going out to "deep sea fish" they drove all the way from ************ to *********************, 2hrs down the coast line. Only one deckhand (he was great though!) And they lied about the price. I have 2 kids under 12 and when I called and RSVP for this trip (9hrs) they said they were half priced. I get there (drove 7 hrs for this trip)and they charged me full price and said I was never told that because that is only for bay fishing. I also sent them a message after the trip saying all of this and that I wouldn't blast them on social media for it and I'm not. I'm writing a review... don't waste your time (driving 6hrs down the coast) not even 3hrs of fishing and money.... go with a small tour you'll be happier.

My name is ****************************I would like to share a few concerns that if not handled properly will be reported to the BBB.My family of ten were on the deep sea fish charter with your firm this past Saturday. As an overall we had a great time.When we arrived at the doc we were greeted by ****. He explained the process of collecting our fish once our numbers were called. He would not stop spitting in front of the fish we were about to collect. When I asked him if he could please stop spitting. He ignored me and kept spitting.My sister in law caught 6 large fish and when her number was called the fish did not add up and 3 of the larger fish were unaccounted for. She brought it to the attention of one of the guys that put the number on her fish. He recognized her and apologized for the issue. He also remembered and agreed with her fish not adding up or missing.At the tail end **** gave two trash bins to two black men half full with fish. The two men fist bumped with **** and **** went on to say there were no extra fish to everyone else.My concern is the disgusting behavior of **** spitting in front of the fish. It was really disgusting. He also had no regard for us as customers when asked to stop.Secondly the fish that were missing from my sister in laws catch. She didn't get to pick her top two. Did they go to the guys in the end?The overall situation was extremely sketchy and not hard to spot as a questionable business practice.

Best company to fish in Port Aransas. La Pesca and Dolphin Express Catch more fish than any head boat on the island. Hands down they will work there A$$ off for you. now if you are looking at luxury fishing then book a yacht. But if you are looking for affordable \ groceries and a EPIC trip. try it out. I have been fishing with Deep Sea headquarters and Fisherman's Warf. But let me tell you from experience The captain's at Dolphin Dock are by far better.
