      my car was totalled...I had extended warranty, gap and wheel and key insurance on it. I ASSUMMED. that the gap insurance would cover the difference between owed and value...which it basically...but they kept the refund for the extended warranty and wheel and key polices to go toward the difference....is this even legal? if polices were with an outside company I know I would have gotten refunds for those polices....I think that's more than a little crocked..what if I only had gap????

      Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with and someone needs to do something!!! why are they getting away with holding peoples titles hostage to vehicles they have paid completely off. Not okay at all and completely illegal. I sent a check from state farm on july 31st and this company has not looked at it or cashed it and here we are august 10th the check has still not been cashed or processed and i am sold every excuse in the book when I call. when people total loss a vehicle you arent allowed to take payment on it and they did!!!! took $387 out of my account after i crashed the vehicle and it was reported. I know a lot of people filing action law suits on this company when will the better business bureau finally step in? Paying customers DESERVE their title.

      I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the recent experiences my husband and I have encountered with Toyota ***************************************. My husband, a terminally ill military veteran, and I, an elderly couple, purchased a Toyota Tundra in March 2024. Initially, everything was satisfactory until Toyota Financial Services began withdrawing money from our account twice on the same day, amounting to two car payments. This issue first occurred in July and then again in August.Upon discovering this, I promptly contacted Toyota Financial Services customer service. However, instead of addressing our concern, they informed me that our account was past due and that we would be charged a late fee. Despite having auto pay set up for the 6th of every month, the representative claimed there was no record of this in the system and insisted that we make an immediate payment over the phone.This situation has put us in a dire financial position, as we are retired and disabled with limited funds. When I requested a refund for the duplicate charges, my request was denied. Furthermore, my repeated attempts to speak with a manager were met with resistance, and I was told I would receive a call within 48 hours, which never happened. Subsequent calls yielded the same unhelpful responses.In an attempt to resolve the matter, I visited the dealership and spoke with the General Manager, but unfortunately, no progress was made. The unauthorized withdrawals and the lack of assistance from both Toyota Financial Services and the dealership have left us feeling defeated and helpless.Given the gravity of this situation and the financial strain it has caused, we are left with no choice but to consider reaching out to the Attorney General if a resolution is not achieved. It is deeply disheartening that a company as reputable as Toyota would allow such a situation to persist, especially when dealing with a vulnerable and loyal customer base.

      I have the platnium extended warranty. My transmission needs to be replaced, warranty company approved the claim, great! Heres the problem.. they only authorized 5 days of rental but the parts and transmission is on back order, hopefully to be received in 2-4 weeks. Car is not driveable and a TSB out on my serial number for a transmission issue. ********************** Knew about the problem but yet wont cover a rental for the lack of parts available! My local Toyota agrees that we shouldnt be the ones to have to pay for a rental yet the warranty company wont help!! **************** is useless talking to them pointing figures at Toyota for not having the part instead of helping with a solution. We will be out a couple thousand in rental fees!!! This is a mess, I have been left scrambling on how to get to work and continue with my daily responsibilities when we shouldnt have to be! Do the right thing Toyota financial and cover the rental car for parts YOUR company is behind on delivering.

      I paid off my 2017 Range Rover Autobiography that was purchased through ******************* Toyota in ****, **. The payoff was processed on 04/05/2024. I have contacted Toyota financial on many different occasions to get a refund of my mechanical service agreement as well as GAP insurance. Both totaling over 7.4k. Toyota financial reps kept telling me that they resent the checks to my primary residence which was a complete lie. Come to find out, the checks are coming from a 3rd party called GSA. After contacting GSA they cleared and sent the checks to Toyota financial. I just contacted Toyota and they are now saying that they dont have the checks. Need to start a class action against Toyota, obviously their reviews say it all. This company has zero organization or integrity. If I dont receive MY money in the next few days, I will be filing suit.

      They are holding my GAP insurance hostage! I have literally spent hours on the phone with them to no avail. They finally sent me an overage check the other day for like $198.00. I was excited until they spelled my middle initial wrong which is G. Instead they spelled it -GG.? and no space between the last G and my last name. I called, and they said they would issue me another one in only four to six weeks.This is separate from the almost $6.40.00 they owe me for my GAP refund, plus extra car payment of $240.00 that I paid while they were dragging their feet. Plus of course the $198.00 overage check they made out so it is not cash-able. Two supervisors said that they had seen several misspelled checks like mine. Makes me wonder if they did not misspell it on purpose after seeing their one to two star reviews on the internet! Just to hang on to people money longer. I was going to buy another Toyota, to replace the one that was totaled by a deer strike. But due to Toyota finance we bought an ******* Accent instead. I was l was also dealing to get a 2024 Toyota GR. But have decided on a ***** R.....I am done with what used to be my favorite car brand since 1972 thanks to Toyota Finance!

TFS thanks ************************* for bringing their account to our attention. TFS is in the process of updating **************** ******* name to match the signed contract. Rest assured, the typographical error that caused their check to be issued with a duplicate G. was inadvertent. We have requested the reissue of their refund in the amount of $198.84. Based on the payment history, TFS is refunding ************************* for the undue interest from their payments made on June 3, 2024, and June 26, 2024; these payments were made after the date of loss of May 19, 2024; therefore, TFS has issued a separate refund in the amount of $191.66. Upon receipt of **************************** complaint, TFS partnered with Toyota Motor Insurance Services (TMIS), and we confirmed they issued their *** refund in the amount of $666.49, which will be mailed under separate cover. Please note that the time frame is three to five business days for processing and seven to ten business days for mail time.To confirm, our customer will receive three checks. $191.66 to refund the interest for payments made after the due date (our customer is responsible for any amounts due after the insurance settlement is received). The second check for $198.84 to replace the check with the inadvertently incorrect name.       The customer service representatives' behavior was unprofessional and unacceptable. On 7/19, when I requested to speak to a manager, supervisor, or team leader, they hung up the phone, not once but twice. I was calling to pay off a debt that is on my credit report. This vehicle was a write-off many years ago, and I was not able to verify its name, make, and model. I verified my social security number, address, and phone number, but they were insufficient to close the account.The first representative had me on hold for 10 minutes. I could hear her typing away, and then she hung up the phone. That was *******'s ID number, which starts with a W. The second representative was **** ID # LNJW, who was able to inform me that the supervisor was not able to help me and then hung up the phone. And of course, many years later, attempting to close this account... it is still unpaid because of customer service ethics. This time, I will write reviews on every platform until the *** sees my effort.

      I have tried countless times to have Toyota Financial send the title to my state so I can get my license transferred. My new RAV4 is sitting in my garage with no plates on it because they cant get their act together and get the title sent. Basically, I paid $40000 for a car I cant drive. I uploaded the first request to the website and they didnt get it. I had the treasurers office fax a request and they didnt get it. *****. They are ridiculous. Never finance through Toyota.

      If I could 0 stars, I certainly would. This is, by far, the worst company I've ever tried to work with. This last call, when I asked for a supervisor, I was given someone named ****** who promptly hung up on me. It would almost be funny if it wasn't. I will never use Toyota, in any iteration, again. For MONTHS, I've been trying to get reimbursement for work I had done. Every time I faxed them with the information they asked for, I would then get a rejection letter stating it had missing information. I jumped through their hoops for months, supplying everything they asked for. I would then get another rejection letter with NEW information that was "missing". I called them today and they said that I needed something that wasn't on their previous list. Today, someone finally was honest and told me that the warranty would only cover $98 out of a bill that was over $700. I thought I was fighting for $700 and no one bothered to tell me next to nothing was covered on the invoice. They're rude, they're inept and I should have looked at the ratings before entering an agreement that would ****** nothing in return.
