Nightmare!!Brought in my car for a transmission issue. They charged me almost $400 to "diagnose" the problem, and then replaced parts of the car computer that were not the problem. When that didn't work, they wanted $14k to fix the transmission. They ran my battery dead by leaving the lights on, and removed the front end skid plate and never replaced it. When I took it somewhere else to get the transmission fixed (for less than 1/2 that price) they were angry and unprofessional. My STRONG advice: Do not go here, or let friends or family go here.

We took our ***** in to AAMCO for brake work, The work description billed to us was "Remove and replace front caliper or wheel cylinder with brake service" We picked the car up and seemed to run fine then 2 weeks later my 17 year old daughter was driving the car and it broke down on her while driving. She struggled but managed to get the car off the road , it was undriveable so we called a tow truck . Not knowing what was wrong we had the car towed to ******** it was not driving and making an awful noise. We called for a tow telling him to take to ***** and he did that but noted he thought it was more of a brake issue. I told him impossible as we just replaced the front brake system 2 weeks prior. The car gets towed to ***** and the serviceman there called and stated it was in fact the brakes, there was hardware missing off the calipers and whoever did the work messed up. We called AAMCO to tell them and ask for our money back as now we have to have ***** fix what they messed up on and they told me since we did not tow to them they would not be refunding the money they further said everyone makes mistakes- which I responded MISTAKES ON BRAKES?? HAD THIS BEEN ON THE HIGHWAY THIS COULD HAVE KILLED MY DAUGHTER WITH NON FUNCTIONING BRAKES. How do you forget to use proper bolting on brakes. I would never go to this AAMCO again. I only left one star as this system made me at least select one but they are a zero star rating in my book.
