I referred to Meineke at **** ********* ******* ********* ** ***** to have my AC condenser replaced. I was told by ******** **** ***** to buy the AC condenser (paid $137.48) from **************. Sept 22: gave Meineke the AC condenser and dropped off my car. September 24th: went to Meineke to pick up my car and was informed by *** ****** that "after installing the AC condenser in the car, the quick connect fitting will not stay clipped in, line clips fine into OEM condenser." I was also informed that they would not do any further work until they got the right part. Sept 28: I pick up my car and was charged $742.69 despite the AC condenser not being fixed. This also included the wasted freon they put in my car despite knowing that the quick connect fitting will not stay clipped in.Business response

The customer brought us a part. We removed the part and installed the new part they supplied. We charged it up with refrigerant and their part wouldn't start.
If I would have bought the part and it didn't work, that would be on me. They assume all responsibility because they brought me the part. It's not my part. It's the part they provided so they need to seek warranty with the people they purchased the part from.
She paid us to install her part and her parts were no good. We still have to get paid for the job we did.

Please see the attached screenshot from ******** ******. ******** was able to use the same part we supplied that Meineke said wasn’t any good. Please advise. Thank you.
