April 20, 2021 Tracy Timmons paid Mary Handyman Services 700.00 to install kitchen cabinets. I then hired ***** to install countertops. ***** sent out some to measure the space for the cabinets. He stated "who installed your cabinets" they are not square. I immediately contacted the installer Mark via text message and stated the cabinets are not square. It affect the installation of counter tops and how they looked. Mark came out and stated the cabinets are square and left without making any corrections. May 12, 2021 ***** comes out to install the counter tops the first thing the man said again, "who install your cabinets they are not straight." I called Mary ******* the owner the company and state this the second person who has stated the cabinets were not installed correctly. Friday, May 21, 2021 Mary ******* contacted the installer for ***** ******* ******** ** ***** and has them retract their previous comment about the countertop to try to get out of fixing the problem.Business response

To Whom it may concern,
Ms Timmons ask us out to estimate her kitchen base cabinet install 4-19-2021 We sent Mark ******* (a master carpenter) to her home to estimate project on 4-21-2021
Ms Timmons accepted the proposal and Mark (The Master Carpenter) installed her 5 kitchen base cabinets.
Ms Timmons kitchen walls are not square. We installed the base cabinets and adjusted to make them square. The counter top company says the issue is the walls and not our cabinet install. We have been back out to review the work and the cabinets we installed are NOT out of square. I have reached out the counter top company to ask if they could have there installer meet us on site so we could clarify what we need to do, so they can install her counter top. Taylor at the counter top company indicated the installer must have miss-communicated what the issue was, to start the install of the counter top and they would have to re-cut the top to fit the crooked wall issue and accommodate for a miss-positioning of the sink. Taylor also shared that Ms. Timmons has postponed her counter top install due to some health or financial issue. I am confused because at this point I understood from Taylor at the counter top company they are ready to install and Ms. Timmons will not confirm an installation date.

The measurer Cesar stated the cabinets are not square. The company installed 5 upper cabinets and 5 base cabinets. I have attached pictures of Mark ******* work. The installer stated the cabinets are not straight. Mark ******* work is very sloppy. There is also too much space between the filler and dish washer. The do not align in a straight line. She has tried the get the counter top installer to recant his words, because she does not want to be held responsible for poor workmanship.Business response

Meeting with Cesar ******* with ******* *******, he met with me, ms timmons and our tradesman that installed the cabinets for her at the home on ****** Meeting date and Time 5-26 @ 8 am
there was a small 5.5-in cabinet filler panel we will adjust over to the right about 1/8 an inch. We have removed it, she wants it modified to close a gap around the dishwasher, ( we left 1/2 in on each side of the dishwasher, this is done so in the future if she had to replace the dishwasher she could do so with out damaging her cabinets... Standard practice) The counter top company had a field supervisor on site (Cesar *******) who showed her with HIS Johnson Steel square and level, that all her cabinets are square and installed properly and they are level. She is looking at with her own eyes and arguing that they are not square. This all started because she misunderstood what the counter top installer told her the first time they tried to install her counter tops. I think there may have been a language barrier and she understood him to say the cabinets were out of square and the counter top company is telling me that he was trying to tell her the walls weren't square. We have removed the filler panel in question and will cut it to her required 6-in and install the new one next week.

Ms. ******* is not telling the truth the whole conversation audio was thoroughly documented. Mark the carpenter has not fixed the cabinets and he argued with me installer and whole month. The original measurer did not come out to the house, a scheduler Caesar came out remeasure the countertops. Mark has to install a filler of 4inch 3/16. and has to realign the countertops. Which he has not done yet. The correction were pointed out by the Texas ******* *******sThe case can not be closed to the repairs have been completed.

I spoke to Ms. Timmons late 5-27. My tradesman did remove the filler panel on 5-26 while we were all on site. I understood from HER that Mark our tradesman was supposed to install a new one for her on 5-27. I had left this in Marks hands and did not know what date and time he had arranged with her. He was ill yesterday and spent most of the day at a hospital ( diverticulitis ) but did not inform Ms. Timmons he would not make it back 5-27. This is why she reached out to me late 5-27. I did tell her he was ill. She indicated her counter top install was scheduled for 6-5 and I made a commitment to have her panel installed no later than 6-4.
I spoke to Mark today and he will call her after Tuesday 6-1 and set time to install new panel. I will follow up of course with Mark Tuesday 6-1
Thanks

Regards,
I stand by decision I emailed Mary Saturday and sent a text message. The cabinets has to be fixed by June 2, 2021. If it is not fixed by June 2, 2021 before work or after then I am filing a lawsuit. Mary and Mark have had ample time to fix the cabinets. They do not return emails, phone calls or text. The cabinets have to fixed by June 2, 2021. Mary has been informed through email and text listed in and email she sent to me. They do not respect my time. I have also had to hire someone to fix work Mark did not install properly, the toe kicks.Sincerely,
Tracy Timmons

We promised to have her filler panel re-cut and installed before her counter tops were to be install on 6-6-21. The tradesman was ill she said by 6-4 would be fine she understood about him being ill. Than over the weekend she starts demanding we complete the work by 6-2 via email, and threatening a law suit. I quote "I have already consulted an attorney" I ask the tradesman to make sure we installed for her 6-2. he arrives around 6pm to accommodate her schedule and refused to let him install the new panel. I can do nothing more for her. She has something else motivating her to keep us from completing her project. I assume she can't afford counter tops right now and is trying to by some time. I have no intention of sending anyone else to her home. We have tried to accommodate her schedule and needs but she refuses to cooperate. I can't work with her and will not deal with her any longer. do what you will but I am done.
Respectfully
