I am submitting this formal complaint against **Nusun Solar** and **Edison Solar**, both of which have failed to fulfill their contractual obligations and have remained unresponsive to multiple attempts at resolution. I respectfully request your assistance in facilitating the **cancellation of our contract**, **removal of all equipment**, and a **full refund** of the financed amount.### Key Facts:* **Contract Date:** May 17, 2024 * **Financing Approved Through:** Enfin, for **/$110,861.07** on May 24, 2024 * **Scope of Work:** Solar panel system and whole-home Generac generator, guaranteed to offset approx. 95% of our Entergy bill, A check for $4,099 to payoff our previous Solar Panel contract through ******* & $1,000 cash signing bonus to our *******. * **Equipment Delivery:** Solar panels delivered and mounted on our roof on **June 10, 2024*** **Current Status:** System has **never been fully installed or activated nor passed Entergy New Orleans inspection**; no energy production has occurred Despite repeated outreach to both Nusun and Edison Solar, we have received only vague responses or no communication at all. We have also contacted Enfin regarding our concerns and initiated a dispute, as we are being charged for services never rendered.### Request for Resolution:1. **Immediate cancellation** of our contract due to non-performance.2. **Removal of all solar panels and equipment** from our property.3. **Full refund** of the financed amount to **Enfin**, with the removal of this loan from our credit report.We have documentation, including emails and text messages from former sales representatives, that indicate not only a breach of contract but also potential deceptive practices by Edison Solar, such as failing to pay their own sales personnel.We ask that the BBB investigate this matter and assist in resolving it promptly. I had solar panels installed by Edison Solar in October 2024. They were installed and inspected by an electrician within a short amount of time. HOWEVER, the panels were never connected to he electrical panel/electrical company. Every time I try to call the company they give me a different excuse. I feel like I've been scammed. **** ******, *************) a representative from Edison Solar, came to my home to sell me solar panels. After the sales process, the panels were installed on my roof, and I was connected with a financing company to begin making payments. Once everything was finalizedlikely after Mr. ****** received his commissionhe stopped responding to my calls and messages *********** of today, the solar panel system is still not officially active because it is pending final inspection and approval from Entergy. The last communication I received from ******* was on March 19, stating that there was an error in the application that needs to be corrected before the process can move ********** has now been over a year, and I have been making monthly payments to the financing company for solar panels that are not in service. In addition, I continue to pay my regular energy bill to Entergy. Instead of saving on energy costs, I am now paying two bills each month and receiving no benefit from the solar system.I am a retired senior and cannot afford to be making these extra payments. It is a disgrace that companies like Edison Solar take advantage of people during the years they should be enjoying retirement. To cover these costs, I have been forced to take on part-time work, and I cannot return to full-time employment without penalizing my retirement benefits.This situation has caused financial stress and emotional distress. I feel that I have been misled and taken advantage of by Edison Solar and its representative. Their lack of communication, professionalism, and follow-through is unacceptable. In June of 24, I was approached by a salesman by the name of ****** ******. He pitched to my husband and I that the state of ********* would pay to have solar panels installed on our home for free. A part of the program was that any electricity we accumulated that was not used could be purchased by the company and distributed elsewhere. Meaning we would get paid for the electricity we do not use. We liked the sound of that and agreed to the program. July of 24 the solar panels were attached to our roof and an electrician was scheduled to come and finish the project. It is now March of 25 and we still have not had an electrician come to our home to finish installing the solar panels. Additionally, we have contacted the company multiple times and have yet to receive an email or a call back from anyone. Im ready to sue. They are in violation of our contract and the $40K dollar loan in my name will not be getting paid by me. I have notified the loan company of the situation and have informed them that they will not be receiving any funds until the project is accomplished.Initial Complaint

I had solar panels installed 2023 by Edison solar. after multiple attempts to contact this has taken more than 2 years to have them in working order. Through many attempt's from myself Goodleep( Lender) and AEP( light company) i have yet to have issues resolved. I would like to remove my panels for a refund and to fix my roof. Signed a contract with Edison Solar, LLc on 07/11/2024, installation of panels and electrical wiring was completed within *********************************************************** the interim I have made 4 payments of $226.00 to ***** finance company ($58,000 plus remaining)and pay Entergy $298.00 (avg) per month. Very little contact from Edison Solar since installation, when I contact Edison I speak with a representative/operator @ ************ who is cordial but really can't help. Attached are the documents provided by **** ************ showing electrical violation fees due with on activity since 10/24/2024. Our solar panels were never finished being installed. Its been over 10 months now and everyone keeps giving us the run around. Its impossible to get in contact with someone. We are expected to pay for everything as if we are getting service when we are not. The couple of times workers came to do something was not planned with us. I just happened to be at the house luckily. Poor communication skills. We were told to pay all the bills and we would get reimbursed once everything was completed but all they do is keep asking for more money with no service or work completion. This is the worst experience ever, were truly dissatisfied with the negligence this company has given. Will pursue legal action if work does not get scheduled to be completed soon. The least they could do is reach out and update us on the situation. Definitely a company that just takes advantage of people.
