      On **********, I moved my belongings to a property from Sky Blue Management on the Gardens on Russell. There was a lady recording/ taking notes as she did the inspection and the one very obvious issue was the horrible smell of the apartment (rotten eggs) and how poorly it was cleaned. Other issues noticed were lights not working, broken window, washer stuck on sensing, restroom fan not working, no latch to patio. I called the assistant property manager (******* *******) and I was transferred to *****. I explained how on ******** and inspection was done and I was under the assumption that those repairs would be submitted and they had not. So on ******** they were just going to be addressed. I moved in on **********, a lot more issues have come up. Pending since **********: the washer has yet to be repaired since **********, the burner on the stove not working, broken window, the fan in the restroom, the city street lights and all the garbage around the dumpster and flying on the street. But most importantly is the infestation on German/oriental cockroaches. I sent several emails after submitting a work order and pest control final went on ********. According to the specialist, he said several sessions were needed because the infestation was severe. An option was to bomb the place, but everything would need to be covered and cleaned after. Since my move in, I have trashed bread, cereal, sugar, cocoa, pancake, all spices, chips, basically all food. The cockroaches are coming out of the stove, in/out of the refrigerator, and all around the place. My mattress is going to get infested. It's excessive and my health is at risk. I've yet to unpack ONE box because of the effort, cleaning, and time put in to address this and nothing is changing. This has been a very unhealthy, expensive, and stressful environment.       Several infractions with this company. Informed half a month late of where we needed to pay rent, resulting in us giving **** rent late. Told us to pay rent and then they will fix our broken gate after. Paid rent that same day and still have a broken fence three weeks later. I called twice and was not greeted on the phone but heard the background conversations as if I was intruding. First person didn’t ask for my name, only put me on hold after saying hello for 5minutes before hanging up on me. I called back and got a different person I assume, but still hearing all the background conversations and no acknowledgment until I said I was looking for maintenance. The lady rudely asked for my name and put me on hold again for another 5min before hanging up on me. I called again and tried a different route and got a nice sounding man that tried to help. I didn’t want to just leave a name and number, because I don’t trust I’d get a call back. He transferred me to an extension but the person was unavailable it seems. I left a message explaining the situation and stating we will be going in person since they clearly are struggling to do it over the phone. Very unprofessional and unpleasant experience all around and sadly it doesn’t seem the company or workers care given the negative reviews online. Do better and be better people. We have two large dogs and have to constantly watch they don’t run out and take them out on a leash.

      This place took my deposit and prorated rent and never resolved any issues i have brought to their attention. They are refusing to reimburse me. They had false advertisement luring me into renting.

      SkyBlue Management has Failed to repair Gate as advertised as a "gated community" for the Garden at Russell Apartments located at 2115 Garden Ridge Dr. Several requests were sent to SkyBlue Management including a Certified Letter requesting repair. SkyBlue is in violation of repair within the Texas Code as a Landlord to . At eight months, the Gated Community Entrance entry gate and code box are non functional. Yet, SkyBlue continues today to advertise the apartments as a gated community which is a Fraud to entice future tenants. Furthermore, The lack of repair is creating a security concern for myself and my possessions. Under the Texas Property Code, Title 8. Landlord and Tenant, Chapter 92, Residential tenancies, repairs of security should be made in a reasonable time, which have NOT been address in a timely fashion by SkyBlue Management. SkyBlue is deceptively advertising a gated community with no intention to keep it's tenants safe or remove the false advertising. As of today, ******** ****, the Entry Gate is non functional.

      The refrigerator does not work/ ie provide cooling. I have contacted business multiple times to correct. The service appointments were not kept and now SkyBlue is not returning calls or emails. I've had to purchase a mini fridge as a temporary measure. Also, Skyblue stated that my mailing address is ********McAllen, Tx 78504. I am not able to receive mail at above address. I've visited the post office directly and been told the vendor or owner has not completed appropriate information with US post office

      We moved in supposed to be **** * but apartment didn't have ac, the ac unit wasn't working and with heat in Texas area it was way too hot to even stay there for a week and a half until someone finally came and changed unit . That was on j*** ** .I had to stay in a hotel until then and spend extra money . Because it was too hot to stay in unit . We don't have running hot water, nor cabinets in kitchen are able to be used , tons of cockaroches and walls are different colors , windows DONT lock or shut correctly . Bathtub doesn't have a drain flow and handle falls off it's so moldy and puddle stays at bottom of shower . Closet doesn't shut no floor grabber to grasp it . Front door doesn't shut correctly and is unbalanced lizards and roaches come through and heat can be felt from inside . Drinks in kitchen and air closet leak. Bird poop is all over back door from vents on top that need fixed and have been guaranteed that they would be done but yet a month later nothing is still done . Then spoke with many agents only to be laughed at and told its a old apartment them things happen and won't be updated . Then hung up on and never contacted back again .
