      Burns Roofing and Construction and Burns Master Plan Inc are the same company as can be seen in the company profile contrary to what Steve ***** says. These guys did a very poor job and are refusing to give back a good portion of money paid to them in error. They did NOT replace gutters which amount is $1523.22 and yet they are saying I owe them for painting and power washing my fence! They did a terrible job! Alan ***** is saying that the boards replaced on my fence were $85 each and he is wrong! The $85 in the contract referred to plywood boards for the roof if needed - AND THEY WEREN'T NEEDED! That is an example of what I have been dealing with this roofing company. They owe me minimally $175.40, my attorney is looking over all of it and I expect the amount to be higher. They did terrible work, left material all around the house that cut my pets feet and was unsightly. I even had to have them come out and trim a shingle on the corner of the house - THAT'S HOW BAD THEY ARE! I would NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE! The roof was replaced June 10th and they didn't finish the work on the fence until September and it was poorly done too. I had to call the local police on July 21, 2021 to assist me when meeting with Mr. ***** because of hisabusive manner, I did not feel safe without police help. Mr. ***** retaliated by calling the police on Sept 28th after the roof did not pass inspection and instead of calling in a contractor to inspect the pipe from furnace to roof, he called Atmos Energy. While the Atmos rep and I were waiting for the right person to come. Mr. ***** called the ******* Police and made a false claim that I was causing a disturbance in the neighborhood! We were amazed when Officer ***** showed up saying he'd been sent to stop a disturbance. What he found was the Atmos Rep and I laughing while waiting for the contractor Atmos called to arrive. This is the Burns Roofing & Construction a/k/a Burns Master Plan Inc. low life company. Incompetent, dishonest.

      Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/01/31) */ In 40 years of roofing this is the first time any accusation has been made against our company like this. This is an extreme accusation. We have done 2 jobs for this lady over the course of several years. It is unfortunate that she was a friend of ours. Everything was done as quickly as could be done as waiting for workers and the demand had to be waited on i.e..fence. We use a fence company that is dependable and has done thousands of fences in the metroplex. They have a long waiting list. We we have used for 25 years. They cannot do fences within a day of us doing a roof job when you have rain, and wind you cannot just pressure wash a fence and stain it right away. It is a process. She falsely accused the owner woodsavers fence company and walked away from the job after a false accusation and said he would not work for this homeowner. We had to find a new person willing to stain and she gave him a hard time. She wanted us to do extra work on the fence instead of the gutters and sent us an email stating she did not want the gutters done. So, we agreed to do the extra work on the fence. According to the law she still owes us $3,900.00 and has refused to pay. We have had to let it go, but now she has made this public so it must be addressed. She would not let us get into her attic to check her gas-line so we had to send Atmos energy out to her house because she was saying there was something loose in the attic and thought it was her gas line. We had to call the police to let them come out there because she would not let anyone check on her complaint. It is very unfortunate this has happened and we have everything documented and recording of her accusations. We have the police as a witness to her behavior and the insurance company. She has changed her story and accusations, every time she would email it was something different. She called the homeowners wife a name and ridiculed their son who was in the hospital and in a catatonic state for a year. It was cruel and an outright hatred and vile. Her roof did pass inspection and turned our workers away several times and we had to pay them extra to go out there to try to take care of any complaint she had. She has even called the cops on her neighbors. It is very sad. It took her months to pay us money she owed us. We could have taken her to court for the hate crimes and the abusive text messages and ridicule she did to our workers and company. We sent her all our invoices which no contractor ever does for anyone. She wanted to see what we paid each person and we sent her that and then she accused us that the invoices were fraudulent. I don't think we would still be in business if this were truly the case. All we can do is pray for her. We just hate to have to say anything like this public about anyone. This company lied about their address for heavens' sake! They are lying about EVERYTHING and you are doing NOTHING but condoning their actions. You specifically indicated that they were supposed to respond with a letter by mail and they have never responded and they have NOT PAID ME BACK FOR THE OVERPAYMENT OF $1523.22! Business Response /* (4000, 12, 2022/02/01) */ We speak a blessing over her and all her accusations. That peace come upon you. She was told we were moving and the change of address was given to her via text. We were forced to move since the company leased out the building right from under everyone. Everyone who was renting had to move. She has gradually forbidden every person in the company to stop communicating with her and we had no idea we owed her money since she still has an outstanding balance and according to the Texas law homeowners are now responsible to pay that. We were going to work with her with this, but she keeps bringing up false accusations. We speak life over this homeowner and blessing. Also, we did not know we had to mail anything since we were told not to communicate to her anymore. Consumer Response /* (4200, 20, 2022/02/17) */ This is a waste of my time. You have made every effort to hinder this disreputable company from being exposed. I have jumped through every hoop and sent you everything you need. Obviously this so called Better Business Bureau is not interested in protecting people from dishonest roofers such as Burns Master Plan so you will answer to God for NOT DOING YOUR JOB! When people stand before God regarding reporting companies who have ripped them off, you too will have to answer for not doing anything to stop it! \ ***** ******
