I purchased a home in October 2019, ***** construction had replaced the roof not long before purchase (June 2019), not even 3 years it has developed a leak. I called Mr. ***** asked about warranty and if it transferred over to the purchaser of home, he informed me that it did but since it was past 1 year of installed that I would have to cover labor cost, we scheduled a day to meet and look at repairs to be made in which he never showed, never called to inform me of why he would not make it, I have since called to get no response and I have had to come out of pocket to have another company make the repair, while the other company was on my roof they asked if I could climb up to look at some issues they had seen and just how awful the original job was done and all the problems it is going to continue having. So I would like to see how ***** construction stands behind their work, I should not be having to look into having another roof installed 3 years into a allegedly new roof.Business response

Dear Ms ****,
A new roof was installed for the previous home owner on 5/28/2019.
***** Construction warranties all work, material and labor for 12 months. ******* ***** did contact me in February 2022 stating he
had a roof leak. He wanted to know if the warranty was transferrable to a new owner. I told him our warranties were transferable
but it was well beyond the 12 month warranty period. He said he would still like me to look at the roof. He stated he was not at
home and would call me with a good time we could get together. I have not received a call back to date.
The previous owner, for whom the work was done said there was an inspection done prior to the closing of the contract. This inspection is available if needed. At that time, the home passed inspection. The roof being one of the items that had to be replaced
before closing.
Our roofer has worked for ***** Construction for nearly 20 years. We take pride in our work. Our warranty is stated on our contracts.
