Hello I got a notification from credit karma that a hard inquiry was done on my credit without permission. When I called to ask about it I got told that it was okay then the owners son raised his voice at me over the phone. They did this credit inquiry without permission and illegally.Business response

To Whom It May ******************************** what has been explained to me, this was a complete accident. The dealership received a chargeback notice from ****** for a vehicle that was repossessed in ************************* name. Our finance manager wanted to see if the chargeback was legitimate and went about it the wrong way. He looked up ************************* information from a previous purchase she made with us and that was the wrong way to do so. We have informed the employee along with instructed him on the correct way to verify the information. Mr. ******************** did try to call ********************* but she did not answer nor did she return his call. If ********************* needs anything from us on letterhead stating this, we would be glad to do so.

I am rejecting this response because: I did not receive a call from the dealership regarding this matter. I know they can remove the **** on my credit and I would like them to do so because this is resolved. What they did was illegal.

Mr. Oviedo did try to call ******************** but at this point that does not really matter, it is her word against his and there is nothing we can do about that. What I have done is type of a letter for each credit bureau asking for them to take the inquiry off ************************ file. I am attaching a file with all three of those letters that are being mailed out today. If you have any further questions, please let me know.
