Hunter Rentals has been managing my duplex for the past 17-years. I purchased the duplex in 2007 and theyve been my only property manager. I am extremely pleased with the services Ive received. They stay on top of all needed repairs, rental income always deposited on time, and handled all legal aspects during the ******19 pandemic. I am one happy customer's cause I know they got me covered. Hunter has managed my property for years. After 2 very bad experiences, I am so thankful so their honesty, and integrity. They are very prompt in returning my calls or emails. I have never had a problem with repairs being done in a timely manner and done correctly. Hunter has managed my property for decades, basically I was one of their first customers. Overall, I am very pleased with the service I have received. No entity is perfect but I feel this company strives for that goal. I am always treated with respect and I feel they also treat my tenants the same way. I have always been able to make contact with them either immediately or soon after attempting. **************, one of the company's leaders, has always been honest with me, informative, knowledgeable, and highly professional. Among business people I have worked with over the years he stands out as a person of integrity. I trust him. Overall, the other staff I have worked with have apparently benefitted from his training and leadership since they demonstrate similar admirable behavior. Based upon my experience working with this organization I would definitely recommend it to any other owners who have property in the area needing management. Perfect? Second year in a row this company has confirmed they do not care about our discomfort or concerns. Annual inspection on our home is to take place. Where the inspector comes through and takes several pictures of every room. Last year I voiced my concern of a stranger being in our home alone. Asked if they could give us a call ahead when they were on the way between the window. They stated they would ask the inspector to do so. Inspector got to the home between the window and said no one in the office mentioned calling us.This year I asked again if it could be a day that we would be home all day. Day cannot be changed. Voiced our concerns again, about a stranger being in our home alone and how uncomfortable it makes us, if we could get a phone call when someone was on the way. And again they said they would request the inspector to call and followed it with, we technically do not have to give you notice prior to entering your residence. This is in your lease. The response confirms that our concerns and feeling uncomfortable, mean nothing to the company. After I replied with how disheartened I was with the response and also feeling at the most uncomfortable. I call the office for a call back from the manager. So that maybe someone else would understand our concern and not further fuel my worries with a response that says they can come in anytime they like. No phone call. We do have a strict policy to notify each and every renter with a date and three hour time window of upcoming inspections. When we discovered a minor in your home alone, we did not enter the property, therefore we could not perform your inspection.Regarding your recent concerns, we would like to clarify that providing notice prior to entering the residence is not legally required in certain circumstances, as outlined in the lease agreement.
However, we value your feedback and will take it into consideration for future inspections.Please be assured that the security and comfort of our tenants are important to us, and we apologize if we did not meet your expectations in this regard. We would appreciate the opportunity to discuss this matter further with you to address any remaining concerns you may have. Please feel free to email us at *******************************.

Be aware of this company very shady practices especially when you are moving out look up their reviews before renting out will save you a headacheReview from Justin H

I moved out of my rental property in July, I paid the $500 recommended move out cleaning services to secure most if not all of my deposit. I was charged to replace the carpet due to stains identified upon me moving into the property. I was charged for unfinished painting of doors and walls that were identified at the time I moved in. I was accused of painting doors which I never did or had reason to. when I moved into the property I was told by the company that I did not need to provide pictures because there had already been someone of the company who already documented any discrepancies, and that all I needed to do was fill out what I identified on the inspection sheet. I completed the inspection sheet and also provided the sheet with some pictures only to receive $90 of my entire deposit plus $500 cleaning services I paid for. I paid my rent on time every month took care of the property for two years and was not treated fairly when i needed to move out. this is not acceptable for any property management company. Also adding to insult I visited the property last week and the carpet wasn't replaced and the doors locked the same. I suggest not renting from this company if you want to treated fairly.
