We purchased a French Bulldog puppy from ***************************** onJanuary 5th 2024. The 1st strange clue was the puppy was being driven from RGV, a border city in *****. This didn't make sense since the owner lived in ******, and when we asked she said oh, "the delivery driver had other puppies being all over *****". Then after receiving the puppy, we go to register him on the *** website and the number ID that was included on his paperwork was registered to another dog already. We asked ***************************** several times during the purchasing process (we have this documented in texts messages) and she assured us that the puppy was *** and we can register him. Obviously this was a lie. Now we tried to contact her, and similar to other complaints no response. We also discovered she has several websites some of which are under different names. All signs point towards this was a fraudulent transaction.

We paid breeder, ***************************** on June 20, 2023.Amount paid was $500 for deposit to hold puppy.Scheduled to see actual dog in community at **** parking lot located in *************. **** said she was not available but her puppy nanny could bring the dog. We liked the dog and wanted to buy the dog. The "nanny" said she did not speak good English. However, we have a planned vacation and would not return until July 12th. **** said she would keep dog until we returned as long as we paid deposit. We emailed and sent texts to **** on June 21st asking to coordinate when we would purchase and pick up the dog. To purchase was an additional $2,000. I also called **** twice June 21st and once June 22nd and she would not answer. We started to see red flag so I looked this business up on BBB and saw hiorrible reviews. I sent her a text and email calling her out on how she is a scammer. I asked for our $500 back but she will not. This woman is running a puppy mill and is not a legit breeder. She also told me that she was out of the country in ******** which is not true at all. All we want is our $500 deposit back because she would not provide medical info on the dog, nothing. We know she is a scammer and she has done this to multiple folks.

I purchased a French bulldog from this breeder in July 2022. I was given the sales contract and vaccine record and was told that I would be texted or emails the *** registration. I followed up within a few days asking for registration info and giving my contact info once again so that they could send it to me. It was NEVER received. Since then I have text and called a few more times and the texts are read, but not replied to and the calls are ignored. We paid almost $3,000 for this dog that we love! All we want is her registration papers. We even contacted *** directly and found the breeder, but she had no litters registered on the day our pup was supposedly born. We were made to believe we were purchasing a registered dog, and after payment was received we did not receive registration info as we were promised. I have all text messages to and from stating that we would receive that info.

On June 18th, 2022 I purchased a French Bulldog from *****************************. She provided everything as promised EXCEPT the *** registration papers. As a first time buyer, I thought the health guarantee was apart of it and after I sent her proof of a vet visit within 72 hours of purchase that I would receive the *** paperwork. I emailed her proof within 48 hours and never heard back from her. It has been 10 days later and today she is saying she out of the country and does not have any internet to send it to me. I paid $5000 not including the electronic fee. I have attached our email communication and her statement included there that I will receive the *** paperwork with my purchase. I also attached proof of my receipt and our text message conversation today. All I would like is the *** registration papers/information that was promised to be included in my price.

I purchased a female brindle french bulldog from french bulldogs *** on 09/24/2021. When I met the breeder at a local business to pick up the puppy I noticed how skinny and sickly the dog looked. I asked the breeder if she had any health issues or anything that I should be concerned about. I was told that she was perfectly healthy and she had no problems. I then paid in cash and took the puppy home. When I got home I was able to examine her health a little bit more and I noticed she had sores all over her body and she had a rather large lump on her belly. I contacted the breeder about it and I was told they were not sores they were skin tags. I knew what I was seeing and they were definitely not skin tags so I told the breeder that I was taking her to the vet the next business day. They responded saying to let them know what the vet says. When I took her to the vet, the doctor told me they were scabs and her skin would get better over time. What most concerned me was the vet told me she had an umbilical hernia and would require surgery to get it repaired. This came as a shock to me because I was told she had no health concerns. I immediately brought this to the breeders attention and let them know what was going on. However, they did not ever respond after multiple attempts to reach them. This really bothered me because I was not informed about her hernia, so I expected her to be in great health. They could have at least let me know about it. I would have to pay out of pocket to repair her hernia as well as treat her skin condition. They are very unprofessional and give out puppies that are not up to the health standards that they advertise. I also reached out to them again after all of this asking to see pictures of her parents and was told they deleted my contact information and needed to know who I was. Again, very unprofessional. Why would you delete the info of someone that paid good money for one of your dogs? I would like to know why I was never contacted.

We put a $2,000 dollar deposit on a French Bulldog (Tri Color ***** Female, two blue eyes) and drove 4 hours round trip on December 23rd, 2021 to pick up the dog in ******* *****. When the Breeder (**** Shermiakina) showed up late, she tired to pass off a completely different French Bulldog than we paid for. The French Bulldog she was trying to switch out was not even close to the dog we paid for, was the wrong color, and had no matching markings and seemed to be sickly. She could not produce the dog we paid for and had no reason when asked where is the dog we paid for. Classic bait and switch. It was a Christmas present for my wife but it turned out to be a disaster and basically ruined our Christmas. Now we have $1,000 dollars worth of dog items we don't need as well.

      Hello,

The deposit was refunded even though our policy states that deposits are non-refundable. We brought the pup that was reserved. The markings change slightly as they get older. It was the same pup with 2 blue eyes. Not something that can be scammed. We received further harassment from customer after deposit was refunded as shown in attachment.

      Thank you,

I am rejecting this response because: ******************** was NOT even present at the transaction. The dog that **** brought was NOT the dog pictured in the attachments.  ************************ claims that a puppy changes markings and color is nonsense.  They may change a little but not into a completely different dog.  The dog **** brought was dark tan with black spots, solid color nose, nothing like the dog we purchased in the attached pictures.  It did have blue eyes, but again, nothing like the dog we purchased.  If your policy is not to give back deposits, then why did you give us the deposit back? You know why, you tried to **** off another dog but got caught.  Additionally, the dog you tried to give us was younger than the dog we purchased.  You make no sense, why would we NOT take the dog we purchased in the picture if it were actually the dog in the picture.  So where is the dog then ********************/****?  Can you produce it?  If so, I will take the dog we purchased.  Did you ever have it to even begin with?  How many others did you scam using the same picture? PLEASE, stop scamming people and running your puppy mill for profit only.  If you can mess with human emotions like you did to me and my wife, I can't imagine how you treat your puppies.  Done with the BBB but stay tuned for notifications from other agencies that have more teeth...my mission.

      Regards,

      Hello,
We are unsure as to what resolution this complainant is searching for. As per his admission we have refunded his deposit. We found an amazing and caring family for the beautiful puppy that he rejected. I have attached the last correspondence from the complainant, a profane and harassing message from him after the deposit had been refunded. Also, in regards to his threat and accusations of being a puppy mill, we have sent an official record of a site inspection of our operations and facilities to the BBB for their files. In this light, we believe our business with this individual to be concluded.

      Thank you.

Hello, in response to this customers complaint, we have trouble believing what was communicated by the customer since the vet assessment was incorrect regarding the age of the pup. Since this assessment was so far off we as a company refute the determination of the veterinarian and have never seen any official documentation regarding the pups initial vet visit or treatment.

Thank you for reviewing this matter,

I am rejecting this response because:
We sent photo copies of the vet visit to the breeder as required by their health guarantee along with a positive test for parvo. We sent emails, texts, and messages and never received a single response. The age is not the issue at this point but the lack of upholding on their end of the health guarantee. He had parvo!!!!!!

We did not receive any photocopies as customer claims. We received a picture of an at home test that we cannot verify. We also received a partial picture of a piece of paper that could have been printed at home, there was not any profesional veterinarian office listed or letterhead present. We never received correspondence from the attending veterinarian. We cannot verify that this complaint is legitimate. We would have replaced the pup had this been provided. The fact that the vet they claim to have went to was not able to correctly identify the age of the pup raises serious questions as to the veracity of this claim.

I purchased two French bulldogs (one male and one female) at different times in 2021 from the ***** business called "French Bulldog USA", owned by *****************************. The recent purchase happened last week, on November 10, 2021, when I purchase the female dog that cost a totally of $5500 (paid $300 in cash and $4800 via Venmo application in various payments). Everything was fine until I was able to be seen by the vet yesterday (November 15, 2021) to confirm the puppy's (named Queenie) ****** as part of the Health Guarantee Policy the company French Bulldog USA states. The vet informed me that ******** had both a cardiac murmur (grade 4), and an ear infection in both ears. Per the businesses policy and ****** response when i informed her of the puppy's ****** issues, is they are to replace the puppy with a similar one. At the beginning because my 6 year old son was already becoming attached to the dog, as well as my male puppy, that i would consider a partial refund or having her cover some of the costs for the puppies cardiology appointment to get a proper diagnosis, or just do a refund. She informed me that I could only do a replacement, and that they had a similar coat available in December. I informed her that not only am I taking care of a dog that will be replaced in a month, with ****** issues, I'm not being reimbursed for it, and its not right to my family when she is just temporary and will be replaced. I offered to get a similarly priced female dog instead, regardless of the coat, to that would be an exchange, and she would not. I advise I will file a complaint and/or seek legal actions since I'm coming out of pocket extra money and she told me "ok". I would like a refund back for the dog, since she will not replace the puppy. Very unprofessional business, when i spent a totally between the dogs of ($9000). I just want my $5500 refund. Please see the attached evidence of the conversation between myself and ****, and the Venmo receipt of payments for the dog.
