Blanca called and apologized and gave me the correct price. We booked the appointment. All good right?! Not!

When I showed up for my appointment at St Therese in Aurora, CO 11-14-2021, Aida told me the wrong price again. She gave me the correct price when I objected and told her I’d already been through this with Stephanie and Blanca. The techs doing the screenings were good and apologetic. People need to see this review. If you choose to use them please know what you should be charged. 

Linda, sorry for the confusion. Stephanie is still in training and our reservations system has two packages that are very similar. Unfortunately, the wording in our system is unclear/confusing. We have a stroke package (that includes the thyroid) for $99 and the stroke test (carotids only) for $49. Unfortunately, the wording in our system confused her. Sorry about this. We are re-wording the packages on the system to make it easier for our schedulers. Our scheduling manager called you back last night to explain this but was not able to talk with you. She is trying to get a hold of you.

The techs that were here for the actual scan were prompt and professional, but there was over an hour delay and someone came in for their time slot and had to cancel since they couldn’t wait. It sounds like a scheduling problem because the schedulers are in Texas but my scan was in Illinois. I had to get help scheduling from the office since we called and left messages multiple times, that were only returned once by someone speaking Spanish, who said they would put us through to the English speaking scheduler, where we left another message.

We apologize about this delay, this is not a common situation. We had only 2 people cancel due to the delay. We had a shortage on the team and could not get others to cover. The pandemic has been tough on us. Note that we did get caught up in the afternoon. The delay was also temporarily worsened because we set up another station mid-morning to speed things up. Thankfully this helped get us caught up soon in the afternoon This was not a scheduling problem. We schedule two people at the same time. This happens twice within the hour. This is our standard scheduling setup with a 3-4 person team. Also, due to the Pandemic, we currently do not have staff covering the phones on the weekend like we did before the pandemic. We are working hard to fill in the staff shortages. I do see in our phone records and call recordings that our office called the number on record twice on 10/8/21. We scheduled your appointment on the 12:43pm call. We then called back at 12:41, as requested, and were told that no one had called us. Sorry for any confusion. We will reach out to the people that had to leave to offer them a screening at another location and a free blood test.
