I just bought a beautiful 20-year-old home in San Antonio and noted that the back porch roof had some leaking issues, and the main roof seemed to have a sag in places. I contacted Elite Roofing, and Brian Kirby came out to inspect both roofs. He was the second roofer I had asked for an inspection and an estimate. I was immediately struck by his honesty and professionalism. He personally showed me, both with pictures and on-site, where the previous roofer had made numerous mistakes on both the porch and the main roofs, and where there was imminent danger of roof collapse due to the faulty and shoddy work done by that roofer. He gave me an estimate for repair that was half of what the previous roofer's estimate had been - without knowing what their estimate was. He even suggested that I go back to the original roofers to get them to honor their warranty (I did, and they did not), or to get another inspection/estimate if I had any concerns regarding his. I immediately contracted with him and Elite. He fixed both roofs, and spent a great deal of time on the main roof project, finding more and more issues that he fixed on the spot. He never charged a nickel more for the extra shoring and supports he built. In the end he took me around and showed me everything he had done, which was extensive and impressive work. Both roofs look fantastic, and they are now safe, sturdy, and water-tight. He went above and beyond what was required. I was and am extremely pleased with Mr Kirby and his company, and would highly recommend them to anyone needing any kind of roof work.
