Home to go allows huge corporations to list homes on their site. Those businesses have requirements, over and above home to go. As a result, when I booked a home with home to go, somebody from a business called ******* emailed me and demanded photos of my ID and credit card. When I asked why they needed.a.picture of my credit card, they threatened to cancel my trip. I reached 9ut to home to go, and they supported the business over me, telling me that I needed to provide that information, even if it was not part of the contract I had entered into, and even though the reservationwas paid in full.. When that company canceled my reservation, arbitrarily and without notice, I booked another home and paid in full. Little did I know that the 2nd property was also owned by a huge corporation, and they also demanded pictures of my ID and credit card, and they wanted me to send it through unsecured email. Again, home to go sided with the corporation. It seems that a contract means nothing to home to go, and they are very comfortable with changing the terms of a.contract after it has been signed and money has changed hands. The girl I just spoke.with actually told me that she didn't understand what the big deal is. Sigh
