              I had moved down the street and called Ambit Energy to cancel my service. Everything went fine and months later I saw I had a bill that went to collections on my credit score. Ambit had my email and phone number, they never contacted me, and obviously I never got a letter from them since I moved. They racked up hundreds of dollars in late fees and sent it off to collections without even a courtesy call. They should have just emailed me, like they did with all my other bills I got from them. They deceptively hid the bills from me because thats what theyre incentivized to do. Now my perfect credit has plummeted and I was just turned down for a loan. All because of some stupid $200 bill from this weasely underhanded little company. Ambit should not be given the freedom to terrorize DFWs credit scores for sham late fees. Their customer service is also horrible and dehumanizing. I will never live anywhere where I have to use this awful little company again.
