      These guys are top quality at a reasonable price. I was also especially impressed by how quickly they work yet still maintain excellent work... ****** professional. they will be building my nest pool too.

      They came out over a week ago to give an estimate on remodeling our pool and pool decking. It's been over a week and I haven't heard anything back from them. I have left several messages and have yet to receive a retunred call. **** in the skimmer and was given another number to have the person come out and they have yet to return a call as well. Very disappointing experience with DFW pools

      DFW Custom Pool was contracted to fill my parent's backyard with dirt where our old pool used to be. Future customers, do NOT believe their website advertising, "...we check and re-check our work to ensure the quality and workmanship meet your standards-and ours." Furthermore, the team does NOT handle "with the upmost attention to detail" nor do they "pride themselves on treating you like one of our own with our attention to detail, transparent communication, and an always friendly team." Prior to signing the contact, the crew and supervisor appeared to be very courteous and professional, but upon inspection of the work area after the work was deemed "complete," the crew failed to clean up the backyard and the "dirt" included more than just dirt, such as various sizes of rocks, pieces of broken garden edging stones, and broken pieces of plastic. The supervisor pressured my mom to give him the final payment so he could pay his workers and told her they would call back the next day to clean up the area, but they never called. Come to find out, the crew broke part of their installed sprinkler system without notifying them, so when my mom pointed it out to the owner the next day, he responded they will not fix it because it was not in the contract. When she expressed that the company should help to fix the broken sprinkler system even if it was not explicitly written in the contract, the owner got very angry and started to yell at her (she is in her late 70s) instead of staying professional and taking the approach to offer any kind of compromise to resolve the is*** at hand or compensation for the damage his crew caused. He proceeded to threaten her that they could *** him but it would take 5 or 6 thousand dollars, did not care whether she reported his company to the BBB, and confirmed twice that he was not going to do anything to clean the backyard or fix the broken sprinkler system. Unprofessional company and owner, along with unsatisfactory standards!

      DFW Custom pools has built us a beautiful pool that was reasonably priced. Great service and made sure we were fully satisfied. I highly recommend this pool builder, the price did not increase throughout the process and they stuck to their word.

      While the plaster job seemed to go well DFW Custom Pools chose the pool start up company and they did not add the chemicals correctly and the bottom of our newly plastered pool is significantly stained - we tried numerous times to get DFW Custom Pools to help us figure out a solution to remove the staining but after being told several times that they would send out another pool service company they have not - we spent around 5500 to have it re-plastered after the freeze of 2021 - nothing covered by insurance, so this is very upsetting to us - a beautiful plaster job ruined by DFW Customer Pools hiring a sub standard pool service company to do the start up.

      DFW Custom Pools built a pool for us in ***** **. Before signing contract, after signing contract, and even the day before they finished plaster we told them that we would pay for water to be trucked in. We told JR ********** and ******* (project manager and son of the owner) both multiple times and ******* the day before over and over, even made him repeat the instructions back to us " DO NOT USE THE WATER OUT OF THE WELL! We do not know the capacity or the capabilities of the well, we will pay for water vs testing the well. We are afraid something bad could happen." We left town for a wedding and the next day when my mother arrived to watch the house she found a hose ran from the house and from the wellhouse tied to Gatorade bottles running at full speed and the pool nearly half full. They ran the well dry. When they ran the well dry it pushed sediment and iron deposits in to the house. The sediment clogged up showers, toilets, sinks, etc. Our toilets are stained blood red and will not fill. It also pushed this sediment through the hot water heaters and well house equipment like the pressure tanks and filtration. The staining in the toilets is an indication of what went through our home plumbing. Not GOOD. We were told that they would take care of it. Sent one plumber and decided he was too expensive and we have been waiting now for a month and 2 days for a resolution. We were told on 11-17-21 that a claim would be filed on the plaster companies insurance. On 11-22-21 I contacted every number I had to DFW Custom Pools and spoke with **** the owner. After back peddling and making excuses we find out that a claim had not been filed. I have asked for copies of DFW CUSTOM POOLS liability insurance and the plaster companies policy now since yesterday evening. DFW Custom Pools is refusing to send their information and *************** from the plaster company says he is trying to "figure it out" but cannot provide phone numbers or a policy info. We tried being patient. We tried to let them handle it themselves but after a month of no downstairs toilets and the sinks barely putting out a trickle of water we are very disappointed with their service. We will continue to update as this process drags on.
