The dealer will not honor an agreed upon sales price. Final documents presented were $1700 higher than sales person committed, with management approval. Dealer tried to deflect blame to misunderstanding which is not true. Sales person, ***************************, communicated to me they had no hidden fees or surprises. This was not the case. Dealers shouldnt be allowed to take advantage of consumers just because of todays auto market. Please call me for additional information. Thank youBusiness response

When **************** originally inquired on our vehicle he was comparing it to another truck at another dealership that was $800 less then our vehicle sale price. We lowered our sales price to match so we could earn his business. We found additional rebate due to him having a competitive make vehicle that qualified for this additional rebate from the manufacturer. When everything was agreed to **************** then let us know that his son in law **************** would actually be the one purchasing the vehicle. **************** did not have the competitive make that qualified for the Manufacturers rebate that was originally given to ****************, but we did find a rebate that he did qualify but it was not as much as the original. This is first part of the discrepancy mentioned. Second part is that the client believed we were charging the wrong amount for taxes. We have to charge taxes on original sales price before rebates are discounted. This is a state law we have to abide by. There was no hidden fees there was no tricks We followed the manufactures rules and we followed state tax law.

I am rejecting this response because:their response does nothing to address their unwillingness to sell unit for agreed upon price. They were not truthful on fees and taxes were higher due to higher than committed pricing. They would not sell unit for what they committed

We priced the vehicle exactly as we agreed upon. When the rebates changed was because the actual buyer changed. That is out of our hands. The only fee we have is the 299 etch fee which was disclosed. We are not willing to lose money on a vehicle. We chose to no longer do business with them after **************** threatened our sales associate.Initial Complaint

On Jan 6th 2022 me and my wife had decided to trade her car in for another vehicle we weren't upside down in it or anything so we were good we found her a 2018 jeep grand cherokee with ***** miles on it of course we purchased the extended warranty as well.A week of having the car the coolant in it was milky took the car back to the dealership to find out they had replaced head gaskets before we purchased the vehicle but did not flush the system so they replaced the hoses and reservoir. After about 8 days on day 86 which land around April 1st the cars engine over heated come to find out the harmonic balancer pulley was sideways into the engine and the camshaft bolt was about two inches out of the engine. Bring this to their attention and that this could be their fault and did they understand the texas lemon law they state oh we will make this right we will get yall in something different if need be. Even state they will eat the negative equity.Yesterday April 9th we'd purchased a 2022 grand cherokee that a family member financed for us at 4.8 percent after being offered internet price which was *****. Mind u the bank the other grand cherokee was financed in paid the vehicle off in full. They subtract 8 grand from out trade in to make us negative then added on the extended warranty without asking since it has factory warranty and they charged us trade in fee when this was their idea so the vehicle came out to be 60 grand then the 5 percent financing they did not even let us see the papers u til said family member signed this was messed up and screwed us.Business response

We reached out to the customer and gave him the option of returning vehicle or to resign contract without the products that were unwanted. They chose to resign. Issue seems to be resolved now.
